Great location with beautiful modern houses, quiet and peaceful, close to the water. I think it will be perfect there in the hot summer weather. 10 min by bus to Amsterdam Central Station.
The apartment itself is spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We liked the large table and the entire part of the living room that is combined with the kitchen.
Comfy and large bed, nice bathroom with a good shower. Parking is a big plus and located in a gated area for residents.
We also enjoyed our interactions with the staff. They were very responsive and friendly, answered all our questions, and graciously allowed us a later checkout. Thank you!
The downside was that the apartment was quite cold and it was impossible to open the windows because they were locked.

Proximity to the bus station, very swift customer service response, serenity of the environment, easy checking, aesthetics of the apartment.

We liked almost everything about our Houthaven apartment. The location was particularly superb - we were literally meters away from a bus stop for Line 48 which took us straight into Centraal Station. Fantastic!! Our hosts were also very communicative and made us feel very welcome.
The heating in the apartment was a little difficult to regulate.

The apartment was clean and practical for our trip.
We wrote ahead to the property to ask that two separate beds were made up as we were two friends travelling together. A studio couch that was for a child was made up for one of us which meant little sleep was had. Dealing with the AI bot that manages the communication was not helpful. We would NOT recommend for anyone who needs to use more than one double bed.
