Breakfast was generous with many options. Rooms were clean with good sized bathrooms. Internet worked well. Excellent location if you want to be close to the city centre. Rooms were quiet enough though you could sometimes here loud voices in the hallway.
Day shift check in staff at the front desk on the day I checked in were unfriendly and unhelpful. Everything seemed like a bother. No welcome or direction on how to use the facilities. No directing us to where baggage trolleys were to make carrying our clearly heavy bags easier. They would not even try to give us a recommendation of a restaurant close by when asked for some assistance. Change your daytime front desk staff- they give a very bad impression of Golden Tulip. Night shift front staff were helpful and attentive.

The property is conveniently placed for travellers, we were passing through and only staying one night. The Deluxe rooms are luxuriously furnished and spacious, the junior suite is spacious with a mezzanine floor as bedroom and at first sight is quite eye catching. There is a restaurant and bar.
Our daughter and granddaughter stayed in the Deluxe room which was lovely, we had the Junior Suite. I felt that the lower level is, although spacious, not so inviting with a hard wood floor, tv and two chairs and the bathroom is also on the lower level. There is a narrow wooden staircase to the mezzanine floor/bedroom which if you want the bathroom in the middle of the night, could be quite precarious. Overall the Deluxe room is a much better option in all respects.

Dinner was good in the restaurant. Room layout was good. Clean and very presentable
The cost of the room expected but to charge 18.50 each for breakfast, no water in the room, charge to park my car, no additional pillows for the bed, and little available choice of tea in the room or any biscuits or snacks. Given the room cost surely these little addions would add to the value and not make your guests pay extra for everything.
