Great location and view.

I missed kettle for tea.

Clean, spacious chalet where we could cook and eat together as a big group. The ski locker was really handy, and once we got used to the free bus it was easy to get to all the different lifts. The walk into town for shops, restaurants, pharmacy etc was 15-20 minutes so not too bad. You could walk to a couple of lifts in 10 mins but with skis it was quite a lot of effort, you can always wait for the bus instead though. I think it’s very reasonably priced for the facilities and location, a great budget option.

This might be a specific issue with booking through booking.com but we weren’t aware on arriving at the chalet that we had to check in at hotel alpina which was a 15 minute walk away. so our transfer had already dropped us off at the chalet with all our bags and we couldn’t get in. We were told we should have received an email detailing all the information about check in but I didn’t receive anything. Not a huge problem just slightly inconvenient and I wish I’d known beforehand. Also, there is a shop 10 minutes away but it opens late and closes reasonably early. So when we realised we’d run out of loo roll at 9pm we were a bit stuck.

I really liked the city, full of content, everyone can find something for themselves. People are very pleasant and accommodating. The ski resort is excellent, the trails are perfect.

The accommodation we stayed in is run down, the beds are very bad and there is a lot of ice and snow in front of the building, which makes it difficult to get in, out and move around the building itself.
