Closeness to Beach. Only 2 minutes walk to the centre of the beach where all the resteraunts are.
The house itself is amazing. A beautiful blend of old and new. Chandeliers and old wooden floors and staircase blended with ultra modern bathrooms and kitchen. Perfect. Host thinks of everything. Water and writing material in the rooms. Bathrooms with luxurious towels and even bath robes. What an environment.
Bfast is to behold. Our hostess was baking the bread when I arrived. The hot cruncy bread with the 6 or 7 cheesrs and a coffee and juice was superb.
The house itself is very quiet with no outside noise.
Thete was 4 car parks when I arrived at around 1700 so parking is no problem even though its so close to Beach.
Highly recommended for a short stay at Dunkirk.
The floor boards squeak a bit so you worry about waking guests or host.

I had a wonderful stay at Chez Marie in Dunkirk! Mateo and his mom were incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure I felt at home. The house is just one minute from the beach, and parking was super easy. I also appreciated being able to use the kitchen — it made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend this lovely place and their great hospitality!
