Within striking distance (5-10’) from Fissi Villas and with easy access for the public, few of the most famous beaches of the area can be explored.
Standing on a spacious property of 4000m2, our two independent Villas will become the ideal home away from home for the adventurous families. Being equipped with a playground and many outdoor play sets, we intend to keep your young family members safely entertained, while offering everyone a stress-free holiday. We do care for the safety of your belongings too and we provide you with free and secure parking space throughout your stay. Fissi Villas promises to offer full insight to our hiking/trekking enthusiasts and to those guests keen in exploring the Cretan mountain routes, or the birdwatchers and the lovers of the endemic species of flora and fauna and of course to our sea lovers.
The field lying in front of Fissi Villas is covered by organic olive groves and by colourful fruit, vegetable and herb organic gardens.
For several years now we cultivate our olive groves with alternative, organic farming methods and we successfully produce excellent and high-quality organic extra-virgin olive oil which has been awarded by the University of Athens for its high antioxidant content (polyphenols) and its overall health protective properties.
In our unique Mediterranean flower garden, several hundreds of various seasonal flower species are growing, leaving our guests with an intense feeling of pleasure and euphoria.
Being faithful to a sustainable holiday experience, we have introduced in the premises a composter for domestic use to turn our organic waste into natural soil fertilizer for our gardens. This is why we encourage our guests during their stay to sort out their waste and join this collective effort towards a more sustainable living.
An amazing opportunity to explore the seasonal agricultural activities that take place in Fissi Villas during the seasons, opens up. You will collaborate in various activities, like the harvest of olives, fruits, vegetables and herbs. To help you capture the essence of Cretan traditions and cuisine, we offer you a free organic extra virgin olive oil bottle at your arrival, to show you what it means to cook like a local.
We suggest experienced mountain guides , teams organized for hiking, climping and exploring the surrounding areas. We can provide you with a special map of our area with all the routes, and we can also inform you about anything else you need. For our visitors that are lovers of hiking , there are many interesting and passable paths, signed with red or yellow signs. Except from walking through the European Path E4 in mountain range Dikti , there are trekking routes of gradual difficulty – varying from very easy to very demanding ones – which you can enjoy. Yannis is Marathon runner- trekking fanatic and he has climbed all the Cretan mountains and other such Olympus.

Staying at Fissi Villas for 11 nights made for a very special family trip. The hosts Yanna and Yannis are wonderfully warm and thoughtful hosts who made us feel completely welcomed in Crete. Yanna helped us with all our arrangements regarding our late night arrival, and was there to meet us after our long journey, and had generously provided us with food ready for the morning, as well as a liberal supply of their delicious organic olive oil. The house is immaculately clean and extremely well provided with equipment and thoughtful touches. But it is the wonderful terrace with its sea view, where we spent our favourite time at the house, reading, eating, and the children playing in the play area. The nearby beaches are wonderful for swimming and our oldest son did lots of walking in the hills nearby. Yanna gave us great recommendations for visiting monasteries and villages where we could get meals in tavernas. When there was a difficulty with a blown fuse Yanna and Yannis sprang into action to get it fixed and could not have been more helpful as hosts. The gardens of the 2 villas are full of trees and plants, so the setting is really beautiful. There is some light traffic noise from the road, but the house is set back from the road, protected by trees and raised up the hillside, so the view is of the sea, and the road sounds are mostly drowned out by the sounds of cicadas! Good air conditioning in bedrooms. Thank you Yanna and Yannis for an idyllic time in friendly Crete!

We stayed in the Fissi Villa for 6 nights and couldn’t have been happier with the villa, the location, the cleanliness of the property, and the host!! The villa is only 5-10 minutes away from 2 really nice beaches, and only 10 minutes from downtown Agios Nikolaos. The villa was surrounded by plants and flowers, with an amazing view of the water and mountains. The host Yanna was also SO AMAZING. She greeted us with yogurt and homemade candied fruit, and gave us detailed recommendations of places to eat, park, and visit. She came by an additional 2 times to treat us to homemade pies and a small going away gift. She was so friendly and helpful and really made the villa feel like home.

The apartment as well as the surrounding garden was perfect for our kids (age 1 and 3) given the playground and available toys. The place has an amazing view and is well maintained. The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly. We can only recommend this place. The only slight drawback is that with very little kids, no beach nor restaurant is walkable and you need to drive.
