The house has lots of outside space for its private use : there’s a convenient deck near the kitchen for sunny breakfasts and a panoramic garden terrace for meals at sunset.

Nipozzano is nearby and encapsulates the beauty and history of Tuscany; there's the timeless elegance of the Nipozzano Villa, (country retreat of the noble Frescobaldi family) as well as the rugged Castello dating back to the year 1000. We can book you a visit to taste their award winning wines.
Pontassieve is the nearest town and offers banks, restaurants and supermarket. The train station has a regular commuter service to central Florence. You can park your car free of charge in Pontassieve and be in Florence in half an hour. It is very easy.
Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Chianti Classico, Lucca and all of Tuscany is within reach for day trips too.

A bit remote from major Tuscany attractions.

We had a fantastic relaxing time at this beautifully restored place in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. Jane and Giampiero are very lovely and helpful. The dog and the cat are very friendly and can be a highlight for small children. We can most strongly recommend this place and hope to come back ourselves sometime.
