About this house rental
Our Original restored Palmer+Kriesel designed Alexander mid-century sits on 11000 square foot lot on a cul-de-sac and was featured in the New York Times 'Home section' entitled 'Desert Cool' and was a featured home on the 2024 Modernism Week Home Tour.
Inside, you'll find classic modern treatments such as Eames tables and chairs, Case Study beds in both bedrooms, mixed with completely renovated bathrooms and kitchen with everything you’ll need. High vaulted ceilings and refinished flat cement flooring throughout with Design-Within-Reach throw rugs and FLOR tiles. The Pool, Hot Tub, and surrounding Deck have been completely updated including a 400BTU pool heater. (The City of Palm Springs ID# 770.)
**New for 2026**: Our new Red-Light hydrotherapy JACUZZI® HOT TUB features three layers of deep relief: over 46 RX hydromassage jets, Red Light, and Near-Infrared therapy. With height-adjustable seats for a custom, comfortable fit, our spa is the first brand to bring Near-InfraRED therapies to hot tubs, a research-backed technology designed to reach beneath the skin’s surface, easing soreness and improving range of motion while leaving you feeling deeply refreshed and help you reach a calm, mindful state.
The Living Room features Hi-Definition DirectTV with movie channels (HBO and SHOWTIME), Apple TV, and a SONOS sound system. The master bedroom also features a wood-burning fireplace. Wall-to-wall sliding glass doors open to a kidney-shaped pool, surrounded by palm and olive trees. There's even a private outdoor lounging/eating covered patio, framed by Frosted resin panels. 2 separate in-ground gas fire pits, one by the pool and living area, and the other by the hot tub, provide some privacy even when together on the property.
The house features iconic pool loungers from Design-Within-Reach and Herman Miller, imported tile from Japan for the pool, a 50” LED Sony, and LG Washer/Dryers. The kitchen has also been updated with KitchenAid appliances, and we feature All-Clad stainless steel pots and pans.
The house features a "whole house" Pentair water filtration system delivering bottled-water quality from every tap.
We also feature a COYOTE outdoor Natural Gas Grill with RapidSear Infrared Burner & Rotisserie AND a separate, dedicated GOZNEY DOME pizza oven.
Both bathrooms feature upgraded TOTO sinks and toilets.
A powerful 4-ton air conditioner is controlled by a Nest Thermostat.
The bedrooms feature Modernica case study bedframes and HUE dimmable lights. The mattresses in both King & Queen bedrooms were updated recently.
THREE LOUNGING AREAS: Additionally, a third seclusive lounging area off the middle bedroom (away from the other areas) by the hot tub features original Balinese wood loungers. Overall - magical and relaxing...
COMPLETE PRIVACY: The house is located on one of the larger lots in the Racquet Club Estates and is completely enclosed and private (backyard, pool, spa, lounging areas).
GOLF + PARK: While 'true' golfer's probably won't want to use the clubs we make available, we do have an old set at the house for your use...in case you want to golf at one of the local public courses for fun.
Just one block away is a large grassy park with trees and benches, etc.
Located about 15 minutes from the airport, and less than five minutes from the center of Palm Springs center of restaurants, shops, and attractions.

This was the ideal Palm Spring home. Quiet, comfortable and functional. The house was great and provided the relaxed getaway we were hoping for.
