Spacious, clean apartment. Quiet location with an added bonus that we didn't expect - a view over the harbour on the River Itchen from the balcony. Excellent and helpful communication with the owner. Very good information sent in advance and prompt response to queries during our stay. Easy walk into the centre of Southampton. Good secure parking (although we didn't take the car).
A previous guest had smoked in the apartment despite a No Smoking policy. In addition, smoke drifted from smokers on adjacent balconies. This was unpleasant, but no fault of the owner who was helpful and sympathetic. Perhaps it would be possible to display 'No Smoking' signs in prominent places in the property.

I’d been sent instructions and all the relevant codes before we arrived,
The flat was lovely and safe secure parking .
Cleaner team were lovely and very responsive host via booking .com site .
The only thing that would have made it better is not having to get out of the car to enter and exit the car park via the gates .
Instead of having to get out and put a code in it would have been better to have a remote device to open the gates .
