About this house rental
Beautiful property located in Planguenoual between the sea and the countryside, close to the sea, the customs paths, the numerous tourist sites and its private heated swimming pool.
This pretty farmhouse in local stone will seduce you by its location and its large spaces.
The enclosed outdoor space with trees has a south-facing terrace, sheltered from the prevailing winds, and a heated swimming pool with deckchairs and lounge.
The pool is available from May to September. It is equipped with a safety curtain. Children must be supervised by their parents and the owner declines all responsibility in case of accident. The minor maintenance is the responsibility of the tenant; the complete cleaning is done every week.
Upon entering the house, you will be seduced by the colors giving a warm and trendy atmosphere.
This house has just been completely renovated. All the decoration has been taken care of and the furniture and equipment chosen with taste.
The living room can accommodate all the guests around a beautiful large table and opens on a modern kitchen equipped, in particular with a cooking piano for the passionate of cooking.
On the first floor, you will find 1 double bedroom with shower room and separate toilet.
The first floor has 2 different and independent accesses.
On one side:
A large TV lounge open on landing (sea view)
A double room with adjoining bathroom,
A bedroom with 2 single beds
A separate toilet
On the other side :
A dormitory room with 4 single beds
A double king size room with its adjoining bathroom and WC.
Pets are allowed for an extra fee.

Great location. Xavier was excellent and very helpful when problems occurrd i.e. swimming pool out of action when we arrived due to defective pump, but sorted in 2 days.

Pros: The pool is fantastic (heated) and the host couldn’t have been more helpful.
Nice outdoor seating area and BBQ area.
Cons: We only realised at the last minute that linen and towels aren’t included in the price. It’s not a cheap place and linen really should be included.
The kitchen was plagued by flies, which settle on any food left out. Very unhygienic. More needs to be done to get rid of these.

Pros: The pool was a highlight, for all of us, a great space to sit and swim. Xavier was excellent, nothing too much trouble and extremely speedy response to a few minor issues. Very comfortable beds! Well equipped kitchen; everything we needed .
Cons: One minor niggle was lack of information, in English. Host was helpful, but would be good to have directions to supermarket, restaurants, beaches and medical should the need arise

La maison est assez spacieuse et pas mal équipé. Le mobilier (interieur et exterieur) est largement suffisant et bien en ordre.
Surtout la cuisine est bien équipé avec une bonne cuisinière à induction 5 feux, 2 grands frigos avec un grand compartiment congélateur, percolateur et petit nespresso, un barbecue à gaz, ...
Malheureusement il y a aussi quelques points faibles. Partout il y a des panneaux gyproc contre les murs ce qui ne facilite pas l'attachement de choses lourdes. Dans la chambre au rdc le support des rideaux est tombé du mur et certains radiateurs n'était plus bien attachés.
Il y avait une fuite dans la cabine de douche au 1er étage et comme il n'y a pas de carrelage mais du tapis sur le sol, l'eau passait par le plafond dans la chambre au rdc.
L'antenne de la télé ne fonctionnait plus. On pouvait donc juste utiliser les connexions HDMI, scart, etc.
La piscine était mal entretenu. Le volet de couverture ne fonctionnait plus et les filtres étaient sales. Chaque jour il fallait commencer par nettoyer la piscine.
On était aussi étonné de constater qu'il n'y avait pas de WiFi dans la maison. Incompréhensible que ça existe toujours en 2022 dans cette catégorie de gîte.
