About this house rental
I propose my family property, with swimming pool and large garden for holidays with family or friends in the capital of Penthièvre, on the edge of the famous Emerald Coast.
Above the town, on the site of the old Lamballe castle, facing the 11th century collegiate church, this 19th century house with a surface area of over 660 m2.
You will enjoy the large swimming pool (6m x 12m), heated from mid-June until the end of September.
From November until mid-April, heating is included, but be careful with a good sweater when the days and nights are cool !
There are many activities nearby:
On the sea side, the famous port of Dahouet as well as the seaside resort of Val André are 10 minutes away by car. In 30 minutes you will visit Dinard or Saint Lunaire while going for a walk in Saint Malo, or further west the pretty town of Saint-Quay-Portrieux
On the land side, you can visit the Lamballe stud farm, the medieval town of Moncontour, the fortified castle of Bienassis in Erquy or the characterful town of Jugon-Les-Lacs.
By moving a little further away you can visit Mont Saint Michel, the Monts d'Arée, and the superb coast of Finistère.

Second time at the house and had a great time. Plenty of good beaches nearby and swimming pool in the garden kept everyone entertained for hours. Host is very helpful and welcoming.

We were 15 people and two generations staying in pittoresque Lamballe-Armor. House was beautiful and full of family history. Weather was a bit cloudy/rainy so we couldn’T use the nice garden pool as much as we wanted. Instead we spent time in spacious living room playing board Games. Hubert was very helpful and gave us useful hints for our stay. Dining room was spacious enough for all of us. House is placed in walking distance from some nice restaurants and it was luxurious to us to get fresh croissants every morning from the boulangerie.

This is a large property which is perfect for a large group with multiple generations. There are plenty of bathrooms, 3 being ensuite and an additional toilet downstairs.
The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you could imagine and more and the garden and pool gave us and the children a great opportunity to have fun outside.
We enjoyed being able to walk into Lamballe and the beaches are easily accessible by car. There are also lots of lovely places to visit within reach.
We had a truly wonderful holiday.
