About this cottage rental
The Piggery at Goonwinnow Farm welcomes you as soon as you walk in. Perfect year-round, the open plan kitchen/diner and living space is cool and airy in the Summer, warm and cosy in the colder months thanks to the wood burning stove. Doors from the living room open onto a fabulous elevated deck area at the back of the cottage overlooking the pasture, perfect for lounging in your own private hot tub, sunbathing and watching the sun go down over the valley. There's an outside table for four as well as a barbecue and a pair of wooden 'Adirondack' chairs for kicking back and relaxing. Also an enclosed garden area below.
Up to two well behaved dogs are very welcome.
The Piggery has two bedrooms, both of which have a zip link bed that can either be set up as a superking or twin singles. The spacious bathroom has a bath and a separate walk in on-demand electric shower. Sharing a private courtyard with The Stables, these two 2-bed cottages are ideally suited for two families or multi-generations wishing to holiday together with a little space of their own.
Need a little extra space? Why not add on the gorgeous studio suite ‘An Leti'. Perfect for grandparents or other extended family members who want to holiday with the rest of the family but would like a quiet sanctuary to retreat to at the end of a hectic day!
The Stables and The Piggery share a gravel courtyard parking area and work well as a double booking for families holidaying together yet preferring to have a little space to themselves.
The cottages are provided with well-stocked fitted kitchen, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, Smart TV, radio/CD player, mini bluetooth speaker, barbecue, garden furniture and central heating. There is free WIFI available in all cottages, huge Egyptian cotton bath sheets, crisp white bed linen. There is an iron & ironing board and hair dryer. Hot tub towels are also provided as well as cots and high chairs on request. Smoking is not permitted within the cottages or games room. There is plentiful on-site parking.
Within the farm grounds are an enclosed dog walking paddock and communal rustic games room. Guests are welcome to roam in the fields and make use of these communal facilities.
Your cottage will be ready for you from 4pm onwards and checkout is 10am.
