The location was lovely. We loved all of the animals and the little seating area by the pond that was surrounded by wildlife. The accommodation was extremely comfortable - lovely large beds.
We were disappointed that work was started on digging out a large area around the lovely pond whilst we were staying. This meant we couldn't use that lovely area after the first day and also created noise of heavy machinery. We weren't told the work was starting which was a shame and my young daughter was worried about the wildlife and animals she had seen around the pond the day before.

Peaceful, pretty location with a small menagerie of animals. We like the visits from the cat and chicken.
Lovely pool area, lovely hosts, well equipped, close to Chinon, could borrow the bikes and ride there on quiet country lanes.
There were only three of us and would be great value for up to six people
Biting things but not much you can do about that!
