This charming apartment, recently completely renovated, benefits from an exceptional environment, as it is located on the 1st floor of an outbuilding in a property that includes a 12th-century mill.
From the terrace, you can enjoy views over a 1-hectare park with a pretty river running through it.
It comprises a large living room/equipped kitchen and sitting area with 2 single beds, a bedroom with a double bed (160cm), a shower room with walk-in shower and toilet, and a terrace overlooking the river and park.
Private parking
The park is reserved for occupants of the Moulin, but access to a private walkway between 2 arms of the river is available to tenants of the apartment.
The most visited Loire castles are within a 30 km radius of the apartment.
The apartment is ideally located 10 minutes from the beautiful town of Blois, in a charming village on the edge of the national forest, accessible for beautiful walks and bike rides.
Fishing is available on the property.
Nearby, there's also an extensive network of hiking trails along the river La Cisse.
The main châteaux of Blois, Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, Le Clos Lucé, Cheverny and Chaumont are less than 30 kms away, Beauval zoo is 48 kms and a large children's theme park is 50 kms away.
Access to the Loire by bike and the Touraine wine route is 10 kms away.
A golf course is 15 kms away and another 40 kms away.

The cottage property was better than the pictures! The accommodations were very comfortable and the location was perfect being next to a forest for hiking and less than 15 minutes from Blois.

A complete surprise .. the accommodation was more than we expected. The fittings and furniture suited us completely and the view from the balcony was magnificent. All the well known chateaux were with easy reach. We had a wonderful time. J&T xx

The property is located in a small village a few miles from Blois and was perfect for our trip to see the chateaus in the Loire Valley. It is set over a stream which was previously an old mill. The sound of the stream was lovely. There is a large private garden accessible. The apartment was large, with tasteful decoration. We really enjoyed our time at the property.
