About this house rental
Located in the heart of the village, our house offers a unique atmosphere and an unforgettable show on the Luberon. We are sure she will charm you as she has charmed us. On 174 m2, this spacious house offers private as well as collective spaces for the privacy and well-being of its occupants.
The pieces are spread over 3 levels:
the entrance is done by the big kitchen which gives on a corridor serving a toilet and a room of 25m ².
After crossing a wide, comfortable staircase, you arrive at the 1st floor which opens onto a living room and a private area consisting of a corridor leading to the blue bedroom and the bathroom (WC-shower-tub).
The last floor gives access to the master bedroom with bathroom + WC, and the solarium itself on the terrace. The panoramic view of the Luberon will not leave you indifferent.
The house also has an outdoor access cellar for easy storage of bicycles.
Sliding screens are installed in each bedroom and in the living room. The other windows currently have mosquito nets on a removable frame.
There is no opposite with the neighbors. The place is very quiet and access by car is possible by car to unload luggage. Parking is provided in the car parks at the top or bottom of the village, located 100 m from the house. A municipal garden terraces is accessible 2 steps from the house.
You can enjoy the main services: "country bistro", local farmers market, grocery (tobacco - post - rotisserie ...), municipal swimming pool 5 minutes walk (July - August), petanque, playground.
Saint-Martin de Castillon is a perched village in the Luberon (500 meters above sea level) 10 minutes from Apt, far from the crowds and rich in interests: Provencal Colorado of Rustrel, Ocher quarry of Roussillon, villages perched (Gordes, Saignon, Oppède ...), lavender road, vineyards, Provencal markets, hiking (GR9), bike path, climbing, horse riding, swimming (pond Bonde). The proximity of the Alpes de Hautes Provence is equally magical with the Observatory of Haute Provence, Simiane the Rotunda, Opedette Gorge ...

Everyone in our group (adults and kids) fell in love with Patrice and Pascale's house. It looked even better than in the pictures, was very roomy and offered everyone a lot of space and privacy with 3 separate levels. It is a perfect mix of authentic old stone and modern amenities. It is very tastefully furnished and decorated with lots of personal touches throughout. The kitchen was also very well equipped: we cooked meals at the house every single night and found everything we needed.
The location is hard to beat as well: it is in the center of the village, literally right next to the village church. If you're looking for an authentic french provencal village experience, this is it!
Both the host and property manager were extremely nice and responsive and made us feel welcome.
We would be more than happy to come back for another visit.

Location pleine de charme, très propre et bien équipée. Des propriétaires très agréables qui ont à cœur que le séjour de leurs hôtes se passent bien. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Maison idéalement située au cœur du village, spacieuse et meublée avec goût. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour : une belle pause ensoleillée ! Et surtout, une vue sur le Luberon splendide !

La maison a été restaurée dans le style provençal ; elle est très propre et parfaitement équipée. En outre elle offre à chacun une forme d’indépendance si besoin.
Pour les temps communs, la grande cuisine et le salon avec cheminée ont été très appréciés
Enfin la terrasse du dernier étage permet d’admirer le coucher du soleil. Nous sommes passés de 2019 à 2020 dans ce très doux cocon et nous tenions à en remercier les propriétaires.
