Charming house with beautiful large garden inside ancient city walls

We highly recommend this centrally located, clean & charming comfortable home! Our host, Ivica, was always quick to reply with questions before we arrived, helped arrange a driver from the airport, met us at the gate of the old city and walked us to the door of our rental to show us around and make recommendations for where to begin our visit to Dubrovnik. It is truly a step back in time to enter into the old town and walk the ancient streets but how great it is to also stay in such a location. Ivica's home had everything we needed. The outdoor patio is a treasure and an enjoyable place to gather for a glass of wine or a meal.

Plenty of room for 12.

First off, the location was great. It is located within the city walls of Old Town. It was probably about 100 feet to a plethora of restaurants and another 100 feet from even more. Granted, there were a ton of steps to go down to get to these establishments (or a ton to walk up afterward) but there is no way to get around that in Old Town. It was hot, very hot while we were there. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a kitchen and small living room. The first floor was kept extremely cool with air conditioning. There were two more bedrooms on second floor plus an additional room that could accommodate more beds. There was a second floor AC unit, but not AC units in the bedrooms themselves. However, the AC unit combined with fans that were provided, kept everyone comfortable up there. The house had a lot of charm, with stone wall interiors as well. We did not use the kitchen, but we definitely used the washer and dryer which was very helpful. There was an exterior porch that was pretty and provided shade to relax when the day was not at its hottest. This place met all expectations.

We had seven adults staying and were very comfortable. The location is amazing being within the Old City walls and steps away from stores, restaurants and harbor (if you're staying in Old City it may require you to take steps). Despite being in close proximity to the fun, it was nice and quiet at night. We loved being able to relax on the beautiful patio after a full day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay again!
