About this house rental
Klara's holiday home with its unique charm has stood on the Neuffen city wall for over 100 years. It is located right in the center of Neuffen next to the Martinskirche.
The small 3 room house with simple but loving furnishings is located at the foot of the Swabian Jura (Hohenneuffen Castle / Beuren Thermal Bath / Open Air Museum / HW5 / Outlet City Metzingen) and can be reached on foot from the nearby train station. Cafes, bakeries and supermarkets are nearby.
Klara's Ferienhäusle is the lovingly renovated house of our grandparents with its very special charm. In the house there is space for 1-5 people on two floors (holiday guests, hikers, cycle tourists, fitters and business travelers).
On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (1.80x2.00m) and a single bed (0.90x2.00m). In the 1st Floor is the bathroom with toilet, the kitchen with gas stove, the living room (satellite TV, WiFi) and a small room with a bed (1.40 x 2.00 m). The house is completely heated with gas stoves, it becomes cozy and warm and the operation is very easy. A new instantaneous water heater was installed in the bathroom in early September 2018.

The house has a lovely setting in a picturesque little town. It's cosy and has comfortable beds. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There's one bedroom downstairs, so most of the property is up some steep wooden stairs, which our dog managed surprisingly well. Everything is at quirky angles - it definitely feels you've gone back in time. The only challenge we faced was the loud church bells every hour, and especially enthusiastically at 6am, but ear plugs helped with that

My family and I had a wonderful 4 weeks in the cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was great, we enjoyed the town Neuffen and it's surroundings.

La maison mise beaucoup sur la décoration, moins sur le côté pratique. Elle est plus faite pour une/deux personnes, que pour cinq. Les escaliers pour aller au premier étage sont raides. Et le premier étage est penché ! La salle de séjour est petite, la chambre parentale aussi. Pour faire la vaisselle, il n'y a qu'un seul évier, assez bas. Un double évier serait nécessaire, ainsi qu'un égouttoir, pour laisser sécher la vaisselle. Il manque également un micro-ondes, et un grille-pain. Non mentionné dans l'annonce, les toilettes sont séparés de la salle-de bain, mais il faut passer par la salle de bain pour y aller. La maison est située près de l'église, dont les cloches sonnent tous les quarts d'heure, parfois assez longuement, de jour comme de nuit. Nous y sommes restés deux jours et deux nuits, mais nous avons été déçus.
