About this house rental
The house was built in the 1890, we chose it for it's lovely garden which is surrounded on two sides by the Seran and the groin (rivers). 5 minutes walk from the center of ARTEMARE, a pretty village where you will find everything you need (boulangerie, restaurants, bank, shops...) this is the place where you can relax, forget your car and your children will rediscover the delights of tree climbing, paddling in the river and enjoying the pool while you are enjoying a glace of wine under a tree.
300 meters from the Cascade de Cerveyrieu (waterfall) and with direct access to the fierloz nature reserve, the walks are endless and the area perfect for cyclists.
At the foot of the grand Colombier (Tour de France), 12 miles from the lac du Bourget, an hour from Geneva and Lyon; you will find lots of activities for you and your family.
It's a wonderful place for families, children and dogs!!!

Beautiful location.. peaceful but lots to do locally. The village is close to perfect with great facilities. Hosts Sarah and a Claude are wonderful. Villa and grounds are fabulous. Could not be better.

Just spent 2 fantastic weeks at this beautiful property and came home fully recharged. The property looks exactly like the pictures, the garden is phenominal and the swimming pool an absolute double whammy bonus.
Sarah was fantastic throughout our stay and made all of the arrangements for our dog to go to the vets. Nothing was too small or too big for Sarah to deal with and always available on the phone should you need her.
Loved it so much that I have already booked for next year! If there was more than 5 stars to give I would have given in.
If you are thinking of booking then book because dates go at a click of your fingers and you will be disappointed if you miss out

Everything was simply amazing!
All our questions have been answered during the booking process as well as while we‘ve been at the Gîte. The house, the garden, the pool and the wine cellar are incredibly beautiful! Sarah was also so welcoming and heartwarming, that we felt home straight away! We will come back - soon l hope!

Lieu idéal pour se ressourcer, chacun peut trouver un endroit pour s isolé. Comme d habitude Sarah est accueillante et nous a signalé 2 restaurants à artemare qu il faut absolument faire . Côté gîte rien à signaler, la touche de sarah et claude rende ce Lieu agréable. Sarah, Claude encore merci pour créer des lieux où nous passons des vacances en famille avec des souvenirs plein la tête
