About this house rental
The house built in 1903 is on the edge of a pretty hamlet and 2 kms from shops,with a big garden and lovely far reaching views. At the foot of the grand Colombier (Tour de France), 12 miles from the lac du Bourget, an hour from Geneva and Lyon;
Our second gîte is ideally situated for fans of sport ( road cycling, VTT, water-sports, walking, Fly fishing, horse riding...),nature and Wine tasting (There are grape vines at the bottom of the garden and wine producer 100 m away and about 10 others within a 6 miles radius).
Ideal for families with children of all ages and pet friendly, the gite is equipped with swings, table tennis, American billard table, private south facing swimming pool (10 X 5 meters), jacuzzi 7 places a "petanque" set balls and games.
The "Old school house" is a relaxing authentic French hide away in a beautiful undiscovered part of France.

Fantastic property with lovely pool and amazing views! We hadn't visited this part of France before, but we absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. The scenery was stunning...mountains, lakes. The property itself was lovely, super clean, and with everything you could need. Our teenager absolutely loved the hot tub and the pool table. Claude's wine was fabulous, so I'd definitely recommend a tasting session!Thank you to Sarah and Claude who were super hosts and gave us so many ideas of things to do. But really we could have just stayed by the pool all week looking at the view!!!

This Gite is spacious and well fitted out, in a beautiful, peaceful setting within easy train or car distance of Lyon, Geneva and regional towns that are well worth visiting - Chamonix and Annesee for example. Local village meets all shopping needs. Our hosts, Sarah and Claude were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. They and the Gite and location made it a 5 week trip to remember.

Such a lovely place to stay, absolutely amazing views and so close to Col du Grand Colombier. A 10 min drive to Culoz where you can get a cheap 1hr train journey to Geneva, or slightly longer to Lyon. Would recommend to anyone and also would stay again without hesitation!

This area is just stunning and the hosts are a fabulous and responsive source for all enquiries. The house feels like a true experience of rural France and the pool area is the cherry on top - wouldnt hesitate to return.
