About this house rental
Maison d'Éole (name given to the house in relation to the god of the wind) completely renovated in 2018 in a spirit of flea market / recovery / campaign that offers calm, comfort, serenity and charm for a pleasant family holiday.
1km from the city center, 700m from the sea and also 5km from Barfleur and 3km from Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue.
Free wifi connection available in the house.
The neighborhood is quiet, it's the countryside.

You have a large terrace to eat outside with barbecue and a large yard to park cars and closed by an electric gate.
The house consists on the ground floor of a kitchen, living space very nice and bright 50m2 (room - living room) television with DVD player and a library,
The shower room, separate toilet.
Upstairs bedroom with bed of 160 with cupboard, dresser and television, a children's room or teens with 2 beds in 90 and the 3rd room with a bed of 140 with cupboard, chest of drawers and television
As well as a shower room with wc.
Baby equipment: baby cot, high chair, baby bath, booster seat and cutlery / glasses / plates for children as well as toys / books
The linen is not included but it can be rented on request.

Comfortable stay in a lovely granite cottage. Nicely furnished with everything you would need. Comfortable beds with ample wardrobe space. Kitchen and living room well funrnished with lots of amenities.

Our vacation was fantastic. The house is so detailed that we immediately felt at home. The rooms are absolutely fantastically equipped.
The conciergerie welcomed us in a friendly and very competent manner.
We will recommend it and would be happy to come back.
It was hart to us leave it.

Ein wunderschön gestaltetes Ferienhaus. Die Einrichtung und Dekoration ist wirklich besonders. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist auch super. Der Strand und der Ortskern ist zu Fuß in ca. 15-20 Minuten gut zu erreichen. Die Halbinsel Contentin ist für Naturliebhaber ein Highlight. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Highlights zu besichtigen, z.B. Utah Beach (überhaupt wird die Landung der Alliierten sehr eindrucksvoll veranschaulicht vgl. auch D-Day Experience in Caratan) oder die beschaulichen Fischerdörfer (Saint Vaast la Hogue, Barfleur).
Einzig das Außengelände des Hauses könnte etwas mehr grün vertragen.

Wir hatten in Frankreich noch nie ein so toll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Es fehlt an absolut nichts und z. B. Geschirr ist in Mengen vorhanden, damit könnte man mit 30 Personen feiern. Und alles hochwertig, tolle Kochtöpfe und nicht die sonst üblichen Casseroules! Steppdecken auf den Betten,die bei Ankunft schon bezogen waren, auch nicht unbedingt üblich! Die Einrichtung im Vintage- Look ist sehr geschmackvoll und alles liebevoll dekoriert, einfach Klasse! Die Lage ist auch prima, Dorf und Strand sind fußläufig zu erreichen.
Zum Schluss zwei Hinweise: Für ältere und in der Bewegung eingeschränkte Menschen ist das Haus wegen der steilen Treppe weniger geeignet. Und es gibt KEIN deutsches Fernsehen. Wer darauf nicht verzichten kann, ist hier falsch. Uns hat es nicht gestört, im Gegenteil,wir haben es nicht vermisst! Mathilde ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie ist jederzeit telefonisch oder per SMS zu erreichen. Da wir auch 10 Tage Traumwetter hatten, war es ein herrlicher Urlaub in einem wunderbaren Haus!
