About this cottage rental
Our self contained cottage is privately situated in a garden setting close to beaches and shops and cafe's.
The surf beach is only a 4 minute drive away or a 20 minute stroll or if you prefer the Estuary it is only a 5 minute walk away. Close to Wood street shops and cafes, the Golf course and MAZ Activity Centre. Visit Bennetts chocolate factory, local vineyards or pop in into the buzzing Saturday Morning markets at Mangawhai village.
Kitchenette includes a small fridge, microwave, electric frypan, and a portable electric cooktop. We also have a bbq on the back deck.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and small hand basin.
The bedroom features bifold doors which open out on the the back deck. In the living area we have 2 divan beds which are set up as daybeds.
Sheets and bedding and towels are supplied.
*please bring your own beach towels.*
The cottage is totally separate and private from our main house (we are not always onsite and the cottage has its own driveway access.)
Ideal for couples or a small family.

Cute little cottage! Just what we needed for a 3 night stay. Beautiful, peaceful back deck for a quiet coffee in the morning sunshine. Lovely, communicative host. Good location to local shops and beach by car.

The accommodation was what we expected, there were no towels supplied which was a nuisance, we could have asked the property manager for some as she lived in the house above but we didn't want to bother her as we had to bother her to get the keys when we arrived as key instructions never came through. There was no cell phone signal whatsoever at the property and no internet, the internet was not a problem but no cell phone coverage was difficult. We only stayed one night of the two we had booked.
