THE ADDRESS CASSIS

A beautiful, modern and comfortable escape in beautiful Cassis with the most wonderful hosts, Eric and Sabine!

Nothing we didn’t like but worth people knowing it’s a steep hill to walk back up after dinner in the waterfront!

Eric and Sabine were wonderful hosts. We received a very warm welcome from them. Cassis station is quite a long way from the property and Eric met us at the station and took us to the property in his car. When we left, he and Sabine took us back to the station. The breakfast was excellent. The homemade granola was the best we’ve ever had. The Address is a 10 minute walk from the town centre and port, but we knew that when we booked and it was not a problem. Having personal use of an outside jacuzzi/spa was a nice touch.

We would have preferred a proper bathroom, rather than the existing facilities which include a shower and toilet separated by a partition but which share the same door. The sink is in the bedroom.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Address Cassis, which offered a well-considered and comfortable base by the coast. The suite is stylish and thoughtfully designed, with a lovely sea view. One of the highlights was the private terrace directly outside our room, which we had entirely to ourselves and enjoyed using throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight. The hosts set our table on the terrace each morning, allowing us to start the day with fresh air and a beautiful view, which felt both relaxed and well arranged. Free parking is available at the property, which is particularly convenient if you are travelling by car. The location works well, with the port about a 10-minute walk downhill and around 15 minutes back uphill. For visiting other sights, we found it more practical to drive, as the uphill and downhill routes can be quite tiring on foot. As the property is located along the road, there can be some traffic noise, particularly if the windows are open or when sitting on the terrace. The hosts were warm, attentive and genuinely helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, a comfortable and well-balanced stay, with good design, a convenient location and excellent hospitality.

Occasional passing traffic can be heard, particularly when sitting on the terrace. With the windows closed and air conditioning on, it would likely be less noticeable. During our stay, the weather was mild so we did not use the air conditioning, and overall it was manageable.
