About this house rental
Welcoming and comfortable, this 4 bedroom, 2 bath, plus loft cabin in the coveted Beaver Pond area of Northstar (close to the village, slopes, rec center) hosts plenty of room for two families or a group of friends. We have a large flat lot for the kids to play outside. Beautiful back deck to relax with a meadow view, BBQ, and babbling brook running through the back yard. Enjoy the sunshine on the deck during the day and gaze at the stars at night. We are in an excellent location, approx. 15 minutes to Kings Beach, and 10 minutes to downtown Truckee. You will be minutes to the slopes and large pool/rec center. The Northstar shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at our flat driveway (we are one of the closest neighborhoods, a very short ride compared to homes off of Basque or Skidder Trail).
Enjoy the Northstar Property Owners Association rec center pools/hot tubs/ tennis courts, pickle ball courts, gym, snack shack, craft shack, and game center for $10 per person per day.
Large, super comfy sectional downstairs (best couch we've ever owned). Contactless check in/check out. Keypad entry. Reliable high speed internet, approx. 175 Mbps. YouTube TV & 3 HD TVs with on demand viewing.

First floor: Bedroom - 2 Twin beds and a large window
Second floor: Bedroom-Queen bed - close to the upstairs bathroom

1 full bathroom downstairs (shower with tub and shower door)
1 full bathroom upstairs (walk in shower with a shower door)

Excellent communication and responsive to questions. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. House was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Perfect for my family of five for a long ski weekend. Shuttle bus picked us up in front of the cabin.

The host (Mike) was awesome. He let us get there early and park to use the free shuttle to the slopes. It was super convenient! They didn't have the home booked for the next day so they let us check out extra late which was also convenient after 3 long days on the slopes. Would highly recommend staying here.

The cabin was perfect for our big family. The location was great, in Northstar walking distance to the northstar village. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were great, always answered messages very quickly.

Our experience was perfect for a weekend getaway in the snow with our 4 girls (15,12,10, and 4) and our boy (4). The communication with Kim was stellar from booking through / after departure. Home was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for both Donner Lake area sledding (our favorite spot), Snow hiking / trails behind neighborhood, and short drive to Lake Tahoe. Bed accommodation was great with all the amenities we needed for our stay. We’ll come back again and are thankful for owners like Kim that make the experience like visiting a distant family member.
