We have a traditional Highlands Victorian home with a sitting front porch and backyard for entertaining with a a fire pit. We are a charming 5 bedroom home that sleeps 10 people comfortably.

Back Yard needs major clean up

Very charming house, but needs a deep cleaning and some additions to complete the 3rd floor. This house was mostly updated and comfortable, but needs a good cleaning- kitchen trash cans were filthy on outside, lots of rooms had cobwebs on walls, etc.
The first floor has lovely hardwood and tile floors, mostly carpet on 2nd and 3rd floors that should be replaced. The 3rd floor consists of 1 bedroom and a bathroom. There are no window treatments or blinds in 3rd floor bedroom in the front of house, nor in the bathroom... So it lacks privacy and woke up early due to sunlight streaming in. There was no door between this bedroom and bathroom. The third floor bathroom floor was sticky, needs somewhere to hang towels, mirror sitting on the floor should be hung. Some towels need replaced. Great, remodeled kitchen with new appliances and cooktop island. Someone should go through kitchen drawers... to toss and replace items, such as moldy cutting board, etc. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. Bathrooms have been updated, rooms are spacious. The house is located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with other large, historic homes. The local owner and manager were very nice. Overall, I would stay again, but they need to address the issues identified. Also, there were a few windows that need glass replaced (cellophane on cracked windows).

Our annual women’s weekend away was great! Very nice place to stay with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and within walking distance to many restaurants on Bardstown road.

This property is in great location and the house was fine but it could have been amazing. The downstairs bedroom is the best one in house but doesn’t even have a real bed. The sofa bed is horrible needs to be trashed.. the bedrooms on 2nd and 3rd floor fine but not great. Limited towels and not great quality. The kitchen only has mis matched dishes and really not that functional. If just a little effort was put into this house it could be amazing.
