Perfect stay again but this time a sea view. Great deal for 11 nights. Staff were excellent and helpful. We didn’t eat at the restaurants this time. The hotel was quiet during our stay as it was the end of season but everything was still perfect. Breakfast options were delicious.

Protaras has been my favorite getaway destination for the past few years, and I’ve had the pleasure of staying at various hotels during my visits. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Sunrise Jade, a 5-star hotel, left me quite disappointed. I stayed for 2 nights, and my experience was far from what I expected. My initial room was located right next to the housekeeping area, with only a shared wall between us. The noise throughout the day and into the late evening was unbearable. I requested a room change and was moved to another room, only to find that the air conditioning was malfunctioning, creating a loud and disruptive noise. Adding to my frustration was the treatment I received at the reception from Marina. Her attitude was indifferent to the situation, and when I mentioned the issue with the air conditioning, she dismissed it by saying there hadn’t been a problem with it before. This made me feel as though my concerns weren’t being taken seriously and left me feeling disregarded as a guest. It felt like I was moved from one noisy room to another without any real consideration for my comfort, which is not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The hotel is situated in a secluded area, about a 15-minute walk along the main road to the Protaras promenade. The rooms themselves are designed with a classic taste and are well-equipped. The housekeeping staff is very friendly, and the hotel is kept extremely clean. The restaurant and pool staff are also courteous and professional, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere. However, there were safety issues that concerned me. The pool area, while visually appealing, has a very slippery surface and lacks stairs or stair railings. This poses a significant risk, and it seems only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. Anti-slip flooring should be considered to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of guests. Overall, my stay didn’t live up to the 5-star hotel experience I was expecting. Despite the pleasant staff and clean facilities, the issues I encountered with the rooms and the lack of consideration for guest comfort left me disappointed. Additionally, the attitude at the reception was cold and not welcoming, which is the last thing you’d expect when arriving at a luxury hotel. I will not be visiting this adults-only hotel again. If you are looking for a true adults-only experience in Protaras, I highly recommend the King Jason Hotel or Flamingo Paradise.
