Elsa and her family welcomed us and made our stay as easy as possible. We booked last minute in the off season and they made sure we had water and food for our first day also some eggs from their chickens! Elsa also helped us to book a car, taxi and answered all our questions, very helpful.

Eine bessere Lager wird man an diesem Ort wahrscheinlich nicht finden. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf das Meer und auf die Nachbarinsel Telendos ist einfach unvergleichlich, v.a. bei einem schönen Sonnenuntergang. Aufgrund der großen und sehr leibevoll gestaltetenTerrasse kann man die Aussicht auch wunderbar genießen. Man kann auch den großen und sehr schönen Garten nutzen.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es wurde schon vor der Anreise Hilfe mit den Fähren und bei der Organisation der An- undn Abreise angeboten. Die Gastgeberin war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns persönlich begrüßt. Als Begrüßungsgeschenk gab es Eier von den eigenen Hühnern :-)
Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und von der Größe her absolut in Ordnung. Außerdem voll mit Insektenschutzgittern an allen Fenstern und Türen ausgestattet, was je mach Jahreszeit sicher sinnvoll ist.
Parken konnte man völlig problemlos an der Straße. Der Weg von der Straße zur Unterkunft geht mehrere Stufen und Anstiege hinauf (ca 2min). Man sollte also gut zu Fuß und fit sein. Bei Anreise wurde uns netterweise das Gepäck abgenommen und hinaufgetragen.
Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte etwas bessser sein. Einige Dinge sollten vielleicht ausgetauscht werden, z.B. manches Besteck oder auch der Föhn. Die Waschmaschine sah schon etwas mitgenommen aus und könnte vielleicht eine Grundreinigung vertragen, ebenso der Wasserkocher und die Schubladen.
Zum Zubereiten von Frühstück, Nudeln oder Salat hat es jedoch ausgereicht.
Die Betten waren für meinen Geschmack etwas hart, aber da hat ja jeder seine eigenen Vorlieben.

I usually don't leave reviews on booking, but Elsa's House deserves one. We stayed one week in her house to enjoy the climbing on Kalymnos and we loved it.
The views from the terrace are stunning, the rooms are good and the kitchen and living area were bigger than expected. We often cooked at home and enjoyed our dinner with a view. As you can read in other reviews, the house isn't accessible by car, so you need to walk up some steep stairs to get there. No problem for us, but I don't recommend it for less mobile people. The location was great, calm, and on a walking distance to the restaurants (15-20min) and close to climbing spots. We got fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden, good comms with Elsa and the Internet worked fine too.
