About this house rental
Dogwood Point lake house is located 5 minutes from Central Avenue but is secluded and privately located on Lake Hamilton. It is nestled in the trees on a point overlooking beautiful Lake Hamilton.
Our home is unique because it has a lake house/cabin feel. It has two living quarters. The den is original to the home and is built of cedar and has a native stone fireplace. The living room is more modern and the entire lake side wall is constructed of glass. Birds and wildlife are abundant. Enjoy the array of Dogwood trees and other plants and flowers native to this area. Boat/jet ski rental is available on the lake. We have boat/swim dock and jet ski docks and are in a semi private cove making it an ideal location to swim and enjoy the water. We have everything you need to make it your home away from home.
R.V. hook up with water and electric provided.
Note: Water level on Lake Hamilton is lowered in the Fall.

The house, atmosphere, and location were all amazing! So thankful to our hosts for allowing us the opportunity to experience their little slice of heaven.

Pros: quiet, relaxing, beautiful views. Well stocked kitchen. Convenient location.
Cons: bath soap would have been nice to have. The cleaning person left unemptied garbage in the bathroom from the previous occupants. The toilet seat was filthy underneath.
Overall, we still had a nice escape for our anniversary.
