About this house rental
We now have WIFI. Conveniently located 1 mile from The Orchard and Twin Oast Brewery with the Igloos in the winter. The cottage is 2 bedroom and 2 bath cottage. The cottage is conveniently located by the Miller Ferry to Put In Bay and all Lake Erie Islands. There are several restaurants located nearby. The cottage is newly remodeled with central air and cable TV. There is a washer and dryer,fridge,stove, and all small appliances included. There is a patio outback with a gas grill for those relaxing summer nights. The location is family friendly and only steps to private and well maintained Gem Beach. We do prefer 3 days to weekly rental in the summer, but off season is 2-3 days minimum, unless you contact the owner. Our driveway is 50 ft long if you have a smaller boat/trailer and truck. Guests are responsible for filling their own propane tanks and cleaning grill. Absolutely no parties allowed!

Excellent experience beginning to end. Our family of four had a terrific autumn weekend visiting our favorite places in Catawba and Marblehead. Melissa was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries, the cottage was clean and included many helpful amenities, and the location cannot be beat. We very much look forward to another stay at this cottage!

Although I thought the place was really cute it could have been cleaned better. Table and bar needed wiped and floor under the table was pretty dirty. The front porch was full of spider webs and the back patio needed cleaned. I would stay again but I do think they could spend just 1 more hour cleaning.

Not the cleanest. Toilets were not completely clean. Refrigerator also. Dead bugs on window sills and lots of cob webs outside. Nice patio in back could not be used because not clean and old, dirty furniture. Shame cause could be a nice patio. Front porch same condition as back patio! Place smelled of mildew and carpets were disgusting/stains. Only saving grace was location but probably won’t do VRBO again.
