About this apartment rental
This property is the nicest unit available for rent in The Residencias Villa Del Sol., and Playa La Ropa. We offer Concierge service. Which includes having the house stocked with groceries and any special requests. We have a staff of wonderful people who will make sure your vacation experience is outstanding.
From the moment your plane touches down you will know how special this vacation is going to be. The Residencias is the only place that offers the security and amenities of a luxury resort and all the privacy of your own home. As you enter down the walkway with palm tree arches you will know how special “Celito Lindo” is. This luxurious home opens up to gardens filled with tropical flowers and Palms many swimming pools and the amazing beaches of Playa La Ropa. Norma, the maid will be there every day but Sunday to clean, take care of laundry and help make your stay carefree and comfortable.
The beds have all been upgraded and are soft and comfortable. The master bedroom has its own private patio and lovely en-suite bath with marble tile and inlaid stone work. There is a the "bunk" room with one set of Bunk beds, a queen bed, and an ensuite bath as well. Each room has it's own TV and DVD palyer. There is enough separation for privacy. Throughout both these units the quality is apparent. The private Jacuzzi that overlooks the amazing Gardens and Pool are just one element that makes this spot so special. There is a fully equipped kitchen, open floor plan with living room, patio, and dining room that seats 8. Our home is perfect for two families, or 3 couples. We have a Bose music system, and many different games. I love to play dominoes, Mexican train is a favorite.
We are constantly upgrading to make our home comfortable for the discerning traveler. We have some outstanding artwork that compliments the style of our home. The patio in the living area has doors that slide open so you can enjoy the warmth of Mexico, hear the birds, sip a drink while the sun goes down over the ocean. I love watching all the different varieties of birds in the trees.
If you prefer, meander down through the gardens lined with hibiscus, bougainvillea, and palm trees to one of the restaurants on the beach! The food at The Thompson is outstanding and you can eat with your toes in the sand. The restaurants also offer more formal dining. The Thompson, formally Villa Del Sol, is recognized as one of the outstanding hotels in Mexico by Conde Naste, Travel and Leisure and Esquire.

Me and 5 of my high school girlfriends all stayed at the Residencias Villas Del Sol for our 50th birthday celebration. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. This particular unit looks to be the nicest on the property with the lovely soaking pool on the deck overlooking the gorgeous tropical courtyard and property pool. Before our stay, Katy was super responsive in answering all my questions. Miriam was a dream to work with while there to have groceries stocked beforehand, book reservations, including a private in home chef, get recommendations about the area, even arranging taxis for us. The property itself was so clean and beautifully decorated with traditional Mexican art and decor. Beds were soft and comfy, bathrooms and showers were spa like, and all needed items were at hand including luxurious shower and beach towels and essentials like cooking oil. Proximity to the beach and convenience being located behind the Thompson (Hyatt) resort was so great and we took advantage of renting their cabana on the beach for a couple days of true pampering and relaxation. I would definitely come back to this VRBO as it is one of the best I have stayed at. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Our family loved our stay at Rich and Katy's place. The condo itself is a sanctuary of calm and relaxation, and my kids loved having access to all the pools on the property. We also loved being able to walk down to the beach and enjoy the water and explore the scene on Playa La Ropa.
Rich and Katy were beyond accommodating with our shifting schedule, and Miriam helped us stock the fridge so that we were taken care of when we arrived. 10/10 would recommend!

Cielito Lindo is a spectacular place. I would love to write something new to describe our wonderful experience, however all the reviews written are true!
