This oceanfront Mendocino vacation rental home is the perfect setting for kicking back with friends and family, enjoying a glass of wine on the patio, and watching the waves roll in. This home is set up on a bluff, which allows for a fantastic view. Set back from the edge of the ocean so one can observe varied wildlife grazing with the Pacific sunset as a backdrop. You will love every minute spent at Sunset Point! Centrally located, you'll be a short drive to either Fort Bragg or Mendocino Village. Take a quick walk to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens for a floral experience.

Ocean-focused and single-level, almost every room in this relaxed, open floor-plan home is designed to maximize beach views. A large westward-facing deck, living room windows, and a telescope in the living room and sound dock allow for hours of whale watching, storm surveillance, and sunset soirees. The viewing room is a masterpiece, with oceanfront full windows, a sizeable Persian rug framed by an ocean-facing sofa, and plush swivel chairs to choose from when taking in the ocean views or participating in what's happening indoors. Victorian-inspired patterns and designs lead you into the second sitting area, again with total ocean views, two sofas in front of a TV with a DVD player, and a wood-burning stove.

Drift into the updated gourmet-sized kitchen for a casual lunch or utilize the fully stocked appliances and equipment for formal evening seating. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, light wooden cabinetry, and an ocean view are sure to inspire a sincerely Pacific culinary creation!

The suites have unique features - one has a luxurious, almost decadent ocean-view bathroom with a Jacuzzi for two and a separate walk-in shower with dual showerheads; another has sliding doors to a private deck with ocean views. The family/entertainment room is an individual, cozy room great for games, watching TV, or using your laptop on the home's WiFi.

Fully embrace your settings with a few nights spent playing in the large backyard, or impress your group with fresh lobster barbecued on the gas grill, and finish off sipping a famous local wine while lounging on the patio furniture.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
