This colorful, art-filled apartment features a king-size bed with memory foam mattress, dining areas indoors and out, living area, bath and full kitchen. Two sets of double doors beckon you onto the patio and deck where you can enjoy a glass of wine while you savor the view of the surrounding hills.
The peace and quiet is extended by a meditation park. A scenic one-mile path offers additional exploration. Complimentary continental breakfast and snacks.

We were coming in right before it got dark out and Zena was there to greet us and give us a full tour and information about the property. Walking through her beautiful art gallery was always a treat. We had plans during our short stay but as soon as we got there, we realized we HAD to come back to stay with NO plans. The porch on the hill was such a beautiful and relaxing spot that we could have enjoyed all day. The whole property was perfect. The rental was very well appointed with ANYTHING you could need. The bed was comfortable and her extra touches made our stay very special. I would highly recommend this home. Zena was a delight and I could have sat and talked with her all day. A unique place with an equally unique and wonderful host!

After months of WFH and isolation, because 2020, I escaped to the Hill Country for a much needed weekend of peace and tranquility. No laptop, no TV. It was perfect. Zena’s place is absolutely lovely, and she is a wonderful host. Anything you might have forgotten, she probably has squirreled away in the guest house. You are close to Hye and Fredricksburg, without having to deal with Fredricksburg traffic or crowds until you want to. The location is so quiet, you can literally hear bees buzzing in the flowers. You get the added bonus of visiting hummingbirds and deer walking right past you as you sit on the deck. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. I did not want to leave!
