Tucked away on the lakeside of the street, you will discover this absolutely charming retreat, a delightful setting, surrounded by gorgeous pine trees, enjoyed by blissful relaxation inside through the 25-foot glass windows or outside the home. There is a definite warmth and welcoming feeling to this special property that will enchant you. The great room encompasses a large living area anchored by a stone fireplace and comfortable new leather couch seating. The kitchen has a dishwasher, granite countertops and the adjoining dining area is everything you need for a relaxing stay. The dining area has Restoration Hardware dining table, Z Galleries chairs, kitchen and living room all open floor plan, gaze upon a large deck and giant pine trees. Quality amenities abound throughout the home. The beautiful bedrooms are designed for comfort and privacy and each has its own private bathroom. Step out onto the large deck and enjoy the privacy among the pine trees, gas bbq, tables, umbrellas and chairs for your use. This is truly a wonderful retreat to enjoy your visit to Lake Tahoe and the luxury lake days which awaiting you.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spacious and comfortable, and we especially loved how perfectly located it was. It was just a short walk to Chambers and tucked into a quaint, peaceful neighborhood. It made everything feel so easy and relaxing. The owners were very accessible and helpful, which made our stay even smoother.The home has a lot of charm. One of our favorite moments was simply sitting out on the deck with family, enjoying the fresh air and each other’s company. It’s a lovely spot that really made for a memorable trip!

The property was beautiful and spacious. There were 9 of us and our dogs. We enjoyed having our own bathroom. We did have a little trouble with the oven, but the owners quickly responded and saved the day (or at least our dinner!) The upstairs loft went unutilized, but next time we come, I think I'll bring a folding table so we can work on our annual puzzle there. Perfect location for skiing at Palisades and walking the Lake Tahoe trail (we even made it as far as the Gnome trail) . Plenty of parking (we had 4 vehicles), but you will need chains/4wd if it's snowy/icy. No garage access. Bring your own firewood.

The property is ideally located for visiting Lake Tahoe region, spend a day or two skiing/snowboarding at Homewood resort nearby.
The only few negative point of this property is that the driveway is uphill. We have rented multiple vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe in similar weather conditions and have always received great help from the hosts who would generally shovel snow off the driveway prior to us arriving. It wasn't the case this time: spending 2h - 3h shoveling snow/ice off the driveway wasn't necessarily in our plans for the evening of our arrival, in 35F temperatures.
In addition: there was no body wash/soap in any of the bathrooms. I believe I have never seen this in any vacation rental property, ever. Again, not great especially in a town where most stores close at 6pm during Winter.
