Had a long conversation with the owner about the historical significance of the original farm, with parts of the house dating from 1503. Facinating history, but unfortuantely not enough time to discuss everything. I could recommend South Africa's Poinotage wine to him, when the talk went about the farming opeerations in that area.

Was going to advise the below upon departure, but was just told to put the key the box so didn’t get the opportunity.
- Bathroom has mould in shower
- Behind toilet is wet indicating a leak somewhere
- Mattress is sagging, would suggest that it hasn’t been regularly rotated as per manufacturer recommendation or is very old and the memory foam is experiencing amnesia.
- Gap under main door, would be good to provide a draft stopper.
- TV develops a noise when picture is dark and disappears when brighter. Possibly an issue with graphics circuitry.
- Door to guest common area is difficult to open and close, which makes it noisy to use and possibly can disturb other guests. Requires minor skimming of contact areas or hinge adjustment.

Location wise great for what I needed. A shame as very very cold room even with an extra heater in the room. Bathroom had no heater. Window woke me at 4am rattling in its frame. Welcome on arrival was great bit too cold to stay again. A shame as beautiful be ie. B close to main road so noise of the road and airport combined too much for a very light sleeper. No tv signal at all in room. Thank ful for my phone and iPad albeit WiFi refused to hook in on my iPad.
