The Sasquatch Mountain Hideaway is a new & spacious vacation rental home within the Glacier Springs neighborhood in the Mount Baker wilderness. Just 2 hours northeast of Seattle, 1 hour southeast of Vancouver BC and 25 minutes from the lift at Mt. Baker, the hideaway is a perfect location for the year-round activities.
This home is perfect for groups & entertaining or just a chill weekend away with friends or family. It is located on a large & private lot. It was built with lots of windows/light, custom wood work/beams, oversized bedrooms, gas fireplace, gourmet kitchen and large granite tile bathroom with a 2 person soaking tub. Enjoy the luxury hardwoods downstairs, soft thick carpet upstairs, and soft leather couches for cozy nights indoors. This home features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom feels private with plenty of space. Front and back porches downstairs and an upstairs balcony accessible directly from both bedrooms to enjoy nature from the comfort of the cabin.
The Glacier Springs neighborhood is located between Maple Falls and Glacier in Washington state. Only 4 miles in either direction to restaurants, bars, quaint mountain towns. Enjoy the local area... Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, lakes, creeks, waterfalls, hikes, mountain views, and glaciers! Nearby activities include snowboarding, skiing, cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, mountaineering, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, bird watching (bald eagles), wildlife viewing, sightseeing, water sports, wine tasting, casino, shopping and more!

My wife and I love the Mt Baker area and this was great location to stay and have easy access to all we wanted to do there. The cabin has all of the necessary amenities with some extra goodies like hot tub and sauna. It is pet friendly which is great for us as we always hike with our pups. The hosts were very quick to respond with answers to my questions. There was some kind of glitch with the Vrbo system and we did not receive the access code to get in to the property. I messaged the hosts and heard back in less than 5 minutes with the needed code. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this property.

Very quiet, great amenities, wonderful accommodations!! Close to wonderful adventures!!! Then come back to quiet, hot tub, sauna and wonderful accommodations !!

If you’re into hiking, this is the place! Tons of hikes around the Mt Baker area. The hosts are very responsive! A few good restaurants, especially Grahams, good food & music

The cabin is very spacious. Will easily accommodate 3 separate couples due to a great layout. The back is the woods, one side is also woods, the cabin on the left is set farther away and blocked by trees. Very private. The swing, hot tub and sauna with convenient walkways from two separate doors are great.Whatever we needed, it was there. Baths and kitchen fully stocked with everything. Small gestures like facial cleansing wipes and cotton balls, hand lotions make you feel a bit more on vacation. Really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Also this neighborhood seems to be less crowded than the Rim developments as we drove by them and th drive makes little difference, at least with no snow. Definitely recommend.
