About this farm stay rental
With family or friends, welcome to La Sauterelle farmhouse. Completely renovated recently, the Mas has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, numerous living areas (billiards, 2 TV lounges, table football, piano, iMac ...). Key words: comfort and conviviality. Outside, 3500m2 garden with many Mediterranean species (lavender, oleander, pines, olive trees, etc.), 6x14m swimming pool, pétanque, trampoline, swing, summer kitchen, plancha, BBQ, lazing around ...
Authentic 18th century farmhouse. Completely renovated with all modern comforts. Ideal for 1 or 2 families with children or friends (up to 14 people). Ideally placed, in a calm and soothing environment, it has a lovely view of the surrounding countryside, and is located in the immediate vicinity of all amenities, and the historic center of Aix-en-Provence. On the ground floor: a large entrance hall, separate WC, open kitchen with central island, scullery (with washing machine, dryer, cupboards), dining room and living room separated by a double fireplace , TV lounge, parental suite (160x200 bed) with private bathroom and WC. The living room has a piano, an iMac and comfortable sofas for reading or resting.
Upstairs mezzanine: billiards, reading and rest room. An extra sofa bed is available on this floor.
On the 1st floor, 4 large bedrooms, 1 with its shower room. 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and 1 separate toilet. A TV lounge or reading area with Bonzini table football and an extra sofa bed!
The Mas is fully equipped with quality and modern equipment: all kitchen utensils (dishwasher, Nespresso machine, Lacanche stove ...), iMac Apple, Bose audio system, DVD players, Wi-Fi internet, chairs for babies, cot, washing machine and dryer, etc.
Quiet but not isolated, you are in a relaxing Provençal setting. A large garden of 3500m2 with a large swimming pool 6x14m, a pool house / summer kitchen (plancha and BBQ) and a 'sun-deck' to enjoy the sun. A pétanque court, a trampoline, a badminton game, swing, ping-pong table, etc. to entertain young and old!
You are close to everything: less than 5 minutes by car, you have access to all amenities in the villages of Puyricard and Venelles. Le Mas is located just 7 km from the center of Aix and its cultural activities. The nearby highway allows you to easily reach the entire region (30 to 50 minutes): the Alpilles, the Luberon, Marseille, the creeks of Cassis, the Camargue, etc.
Le Mas is located 20 minutes from Aix-en-Provence TGV station and less than 30 minutes from Marseille Marignane Airport. With the A51 motorway nearby, the farmhouse is very easy to access. Covered parking for 2 cars. Possibility to park 3 other vehicles. The property is secured by a gate.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was a wonderful escape from the heat and the outside area has multiple seating areas to enjoy the large outdoor space. We also enjoyed the foosball and pool table inside. The owners helped us secure a chef and sitter which enhanced our stay. The home is a short drive to a delicious bakery and gorgeous produce store. It is very close to Aix-en-Provence, although a bit further from the Luberon area. I would recommend staying at Mas Sauterelle.

Wir haben das Haus eine Woche angemietet. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und wir haben einen perfekten Urlaub dort verbracht.

Nous cherchions une maison où passer 1 semaine en Provence avec 4 ados ... et c était parfait ! La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée et hyper fonctionnelle.
Il y a tout pour d excellentes vacances et souvenirs en famille ou entre amis.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce havre de paix mais proche malgré tout des commerces et du centre ville d'Aix-en-Provence.
Que de bons moments passés autour de la piscine et des différents espaces de loisirs et de détente qui lui sont adjacent.
Sans oublier la cuisine très bien équipée et pratique qui nous a permis de cuisiner de très bons plats et de les savourer sous la magnifique Pergola de la terrassse extérieure.
Les chambres étaient spacieuses et propres avec une très bonne literie.
Enfin, nous avons fait appel aux propriétaires pour profiter d'un chef à domicile. Celui qui nous a été recommandé nous a ravi par ses excellents plats, sa bonne humeur et son professionnalisme.
Pour résumer, si le paradis n'existe pas, nous en étions tout proche au Mas Sauterelle.
Bref, une expérience à retenter au plus vite ! :-)
