We spent a comfortable week at Authiou. The gite is spacious and is well equipped, especially the kitchen. Unfortunately, we were unable to spend much time in the garden because of the unseasonably chilly weather, but it is very peaceful and would provide plenty of shade in hot weather. We enjoyed walks round the village, watching little owls, barn owls and roe deer.
Pierre is a very good host and has prepared an excellent booklet with information on shops, markets restaurants, excursions and walks. It was very helpful and we made full use of it.

Made to feel extremely welcome by Pierre. Plenty of help and suggestions for our stay. Property is lovely, and the pictures on line do not do it justice. Throughly enjoyed our stay.
