The location was great, easy to walk everywhere. The staff were helpful and very friendly.

Location is excellent, only one block for Michigan Ave and 3 blocks from Chicago Riverwalk and Architecture Boat Tour, 5 blocks from The Bean. Walking at night feels safe. Proximity to restaurants, low and high end. We requested 2 adjacent rooms for 5 and got it. Valet parking of $65/night is acceptable when compared to charge by other fancy hotels in area. Front desk staff, especially Liz, is gracious and helpful.
Our Special King Room provides 2 full beds for 2 people, one unused. We would prefer a room with one full bed but with more space, but none is available. Feels a bit cramped. On 15th floor, wash basin water is weak, but shower power is OK.

The beds were comfortable enough.
Utilizing the elevators is very time consuming, as there are only two & they malfunction often. The garbage cans were too small. The provided coffee was not actual coffee, but a shot of espresso & the cream + sugar were nearly empty.
