About this house rental
Comfortable house, not overlooked, quiet, it is surrounded by a large garden of 2500 m² enclosed by a surrounding wall and equipped with a gate with electric opening.
Ideally located in the middle of fields (asparagus, and plantations of truffle oaks) it is 1 km from all shops. Close to the city center of Uzès (5 km), the first Duchy of France, the Pont du Gard (10 km), Nîmes (25 km) with its many monuments (the Arenas, the Maison Carrée ...), Avignon (Palais des Papes), an aquatic park (la Bouscarasse), the Bambouseraie d'Anduze and its steam train.
For sports enthusiasts, the Gardon at 10 km offers many activities (canoeing, climbing ... and its beaches), Uzège is also a paradise for cyclists: mountain biking and road with Mont Ventoux not far (we see it from UZES) and many courses in the garrigue ...
Our pretty city is lively all year round: its fabulous markets, don't miss the Saturday market, the truffle festival, votive festivals and their abrivados, the wine and garlic fair, the Jazz and dance, the National stud farm of Uzes with the equestrian shows of Gruss and a little further on the ferias of Nîmes, Alès and Arles Etc.
The house faces south and opens onto a 100 m² shaded or sunny wooden terrace where you will find a garden furniture set with cushions, a teak table and chairs. There is also another very large table under an oak where it is good to eat when the sun is at its zenith. Not far from there is a wood (or charcoal) barbecue.
The openings (French windows) overlook the garden, the surrounding countryside and the 10 x 5 m swimming pool (1.20 - 2.10 m deep) which is fitted with an alarm. You have at your disposal around the Chilean swimming pool but also deckchairs. We take care of your pool and garden maintenance throughout your stay.
The spacious and bright interior is furnished in a contemporary and comfortable way.
The living room is equipped with internet with a wifi network, a flat screen TV (orange TNT channels).
The kitchen is a full-fledged room where you can eat and cook at ease. It is fully equipped, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, accessories of all kinds. Household products are also available as well as tea towels.
Each bed is equipped with a duvet, a pillow per person and a bolster per bed (plus decorative cushions).
The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a corner teak bathtub. The bathroom linen supplied includes a bath towel, a guest towel and a glove per person as well as a bath mat.

We stayed at this beautiful House in July 2025. The house is located outside of Saint-Siffret, in the middle of some fields with actually almost no neighbors (there is a house nearby, but no one was there while we stayed there).You have a beautiful view of the surroundings and villages.The owner Marie-Axelle is always very responsive and always tries to help. There are some things to consider if you plan to visit this house:1) the House is basically a „sunny weather house“. There is a lot of shadow all over the place, but there is no dry place to sit outside when it rains (if it is warm outside)2) the pool is not heated, nor covered. So the water temperature is depending on the sun heating it. Also there are a lot of critters (wasps, cicadas etc.) that also land in the pool. The pool by the way, is only around 1,20m deep not „up to 2,10“ as stated in the description. This might be good for non swimmers.3) The AC is controlled only remote by the owner. You cannot change anything by yourself, except contacting Marie-Axelle. This is actually only a topic if you notice at night you‘d like to have your room a little cooler, when you would not be able to contact anyone).4) one of the three bedrooms (good beds by the way in all bedrooms) is upstairs with steep stairs to climb.When we stayed there, open fire was forbidden, due to fire danger. There is a really small BBQ charcoal grill on the site, however we decided to get ourselves an electric plate at a nearby store.

Propriété très calme au milieu de la verdure. Propriétaire plein de sollicitude. Maison très propre et joliment décorée ( sans compter le linge de lit qui sent trèèèès bon).
Bref, un bien bel endroit truffé de qualités !

Superbe location située dans un cadre calme, sans vis à vis . Maison fonctionnelle, bien équipée et propre. Jardin entièrement clos et bien entretenu. Grande piscine.
Le village de Saint Siffret est pittoresque avec ses maisons en pierre. Proche de UZES avec son marché provençal, ses restaurants et le musée du bonbon HARIBO. Le pont du GARD majestueux . Très bonne semaine mais trop courte . Tout le monde a été charmé par la location ainsi que notre petit chien qui a pu profiter du jardin en toute sécurité . Merci à la propriétaire Marie Axelle pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité . Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons avec plaisir

We had a very lovely holiday at this house in St Siffret. The garden and pool were wonderful. However two members of the party had arthritis and entering the pool was quite hard. Additional ladder steps would have been very helpful. The kitchen and living room were fine. Lots of equipment in the kitchen and an excellent dishwasher. However the bedrooms were not comfortable. The owner had chosen not to spend money on decent beds. Also the WC was poor. Especially the lock! Disappointing. As we paid a lot for the house.
