About this house rental
Great charming house comfortable Murat (1000 m), near the medieval town lead Cantal, hiking site, all amenities, cultural activities, access very convenient train.
The city of Murat has more than 2,300 inhabitants, you will find all the necessary shops including pharmacies, doctors, restaurants, a cinema, a swimming pool, a communal internet room, a weekly traditional market and its famous Museum of Fauna which adjoins our home.
For walks, the mountain is there: hiking trails, to discover magnificent sites (volcano park Auvergne), with many activities: mountain biking, horse riding, swimming and boat lake, etc ...
In summer, come to attend the cultural events of the Cantal (festival of world music, the festival of Aurillac street theater, etc ...).
The site of the Office of Murat tourism is very comprehensive.
Our home:
4 large bedrooms (10 people maximum, including children):
2 bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed
1 bedroom with a double bed
1 bedroom with a double bed transformable into two beds for children
a beautiful attic room reserved for movie nights or television.

It is served by:
- Train (Paris - Murat via Clermont-Ferrand) in 5:30 minutes
- The motorway (Paris - Massiac) A71 and then exit 23 on the A75 for 500 km and the National 122 for the remaining 35 kms

Super séjour en famille dans la maison de Michel, pleine de charme.
Maison agréable en centre ville , à proximité de tous les commerces et de la station du Lioran .
Pascale qui nous a accueilli est très agréable et disponible ainsi que Michel.
N'hésitez pas.

also our french is a bit poor, it was easy to get in touch with the landlord and his team in murat so that we were awaided when we arrived. as the carpark is 3 minutes to walk, we found that the other drivers had enough patience as we blocked the road for unloading the baggage. the house is huge with a very large living and dining room and lots of lovely bedrooms. ours had a very good bed. the only thing we were a bit surprised is the bell on the majors hall that is not too far and where the bell rings during the night. but we changed to open a window in another room, so it was rather quiet and we slept well. as most days were sunny, we had excellent petit dejeuner at the balcony with fresh baguette from the boulanger 2 mins away. the rooms were clean and in the kitchen we found anything we needed to cook - what we used quite a lot. and we stayed there for walks where there is many of them either from the door or with just a little drive. the house is really bit so it has many etages, that means it is a bit to walk up and down, but not at all a problem! (just to know). we definitely had a great week and we were sorry having to leave. thanks for the possibility to stay in this house!
