Loved the size of the apartment and the great location. Well equipped kitchen and a lovely spacious lounge room.
Lovely wooden floors but very noisy so you don’t want to be a light sleeper if sharing with others. Maybe some rugs or runners would help lessen the noises.

The apartment was in the centre of Gent which made it a convenient site to visit the sites and restaurants, etc.. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. They also registered the car for access to the pedestrian zone. I had registered for the Gent emission zone.
The switches in the lounge and bedroom did not work as expected.

Central location
Difficult to find, poor communication with the host having to message him to send us the check in instructions and the entrance pin, fee structure not transparent enough, tourist fee and parking fee had to be paid in cash. Damp walls in one of the bedrooms and the living room, photos of the property don’t reflect the reality.
