About this house rental
Typical Tourangelle bourgeois house, mid-19th century, located 5 km from Chinon in Indre et Loire (37).
It is located near the castles of Chinon, Rigny-Ussé (Sleeping Beauty's castle), Azay-Le-Rideau, Langeais (Indre et Loire), the castles of Montsoreau, Saumur and Montreuil Bellay (Maine and Loire) .
The complete property is made up of 2 houses and a poplar plantation, crossed by a river, on which a water mill was built, hence the name of the property.
The two houses are separated by a common part serving as parking.
The furnished tourism built in tufa stone, the 1st of the two houses, is surrounded by a private garden of 200 m2, with garden table, chairs, barbecue, plancha.
It consists on the ground floor of a kitchen, a dining room, an entrance hall, a toilet, and a living room, all on 85 M2 on the ground.
The 1st floor, of the same surface, consists of 3 bedrooms with double bed, a corridor and a bathroom with wc.
The 2nd floor (attic) is not accessible for rental.
The kitchen is equipped with a 5-burner gas piano, dishwasher, washing machine and full cookware.
The house is equipped with a box allowing the use of a landline telephone with unlimited use and of internet throughout the house (all the rooms are accessible by wifi except a room where you access the internet via a cable network). The television is installed in the living room; reception is via a satellite antenna.
Each bedroom has a double bed; one bedroom is equipped with a cot.

The house was spacious, the furnishings elegant. Tje kitchen was provided with everything you would ever need.
The position was near Chinon, a very pretty town, so shops were easily available. everyone we met, including our hostess, were friendly and helpful.
We were very happy with our stay, and plan to return! A very agreable base for a hoñday in interesting wine country.
