About this house rental
Beautiful, old farmhouse, entirely renovated to a very high standard and offering circa 150 M2 of living space including 3 double bedrooms. Modern, luxurious and bright interior with original features including wooden beams, and French oak ceiling and bread ovens in the lounge. With its large private grounds and nice views over the valley below, this is a great home for getting away from it all, yet perfectly located for visiting the famous Côte d'Or wine region beginning about a fifteen-minute drive away, the lovely, historic wine capital of Beaune, and so much more. Green cycling path departs from our village of Thury along the old railway track.

A GREAT PLACEWe spent 3 weeks in this beautiful house in August 2025. It was perfectly clean, very well equiped, beds comfortable, very nice bathroom (very large), kitchen has everything you need (there are even 2 sorts of coffeemachines to choose from). It is nicely furnished, again comfortable, and above all nice for the eye. It is large and the bedrooms are large as well. The house is situated just outside the village and has a large terrain around it. You can enjoy the sun any time of the day. In the morning spectaculair sunrises in front of the house in the evening spectaculair sunsets. The car can be parked easily and if you want under the barn like construction. The wifi is limited to the kitchen and the livingroom. The kitchen has a very large table and can be used for dinner (in the living room there is gigantic dinner table) but also for using the internet. So room enough for everybody in case you are there with more people.The photos on the VRBO website are completely accurate. Communication with the owner and the local person was efficient and friendly.All in all we had a great stay and certainly recommend the house.

We enjoyed three lovely weeks in this fabulous house. It is in a tiny little village to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and our jobs. We spend time to read and cook. Relaxing! We had been exploring the burgundy wine region during our days and were sitting next to the fireplace at the nights.
By the way: The house has a kitchen fully equipped with everything you will need. All the equipment and furniture is of high quality. The landlords were very helpfull.
We'll love to be back next year.

Not often you pick a venue which meets all expectations. The booking process and communication was clear and untroubled. The property is clean has lots of space, quite and not overlooked. The pictures represent the property well. Would recommend a stay, if you want somewhere quiet and un hassled.

We are a British family with two children aged 7 and 2 and we all had a lot of fun during our seven days at the house. The house is very well equipped with good quality furnishings, crockery and kitchen appliances. The house is finished to a very high standard and it was spotlessly clean. The temperatures during our week were in the mid to high 20's, but the temperatures inside the house remained very comfortable throughout.
The owner was very attentive and the local housekeeper responded very quickly to a couple of requests we had.
The house is located at the edge of a village so it is nice and quiet, with a remote feel to it, although you are only a few hundred metres to the village shop and restaurant.
Our 2 year old keeps talking about the trampoline and how she wants to go back. Hopefully we will all go back in the very near future, for another great vacation.
