About this chalet rental

Chalet on the edge of the regional park of Queyras, Guillestre with all amenities, very well equipped for holidays with one or two families or for a group of friends. It is a paradise for lovers of outdoor activities such as skiing in the resort, climbing, hiking, biking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, paragliding, fishing, swimming in the lakes. ... In winter you are 15km from the ski resorts of Vars and Risoul which has 185km of ski slopes.

The house was slightly too far from the town - it was a pain to walk back (uphill) in the heat. The supermarket and nearby bakery were great. The restaurants less so. Recommend walking in the Ceillac valley, and the Val d'Escreins (Refuge de Basse Rua). Also an easy walk to the Sugar Loaf hill opposite.
