Upstairs, a shower room, a toilet, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds (sleeps 4), a master bedroom (1m 60 bed) with a dressing room and a shower room (Kinedo bathtub) , a terrace and balcony with view over the ocean and the port.

First impact on entering the property is the view from the lounge - a superb panorama over Erquy and its port.
We stayed as a family of 11, and found everything we needed for sleeping and catering.
The pool saw heavy use, and was popular with the grandchildren (and grandma). It's a good size, clean and deep at one end.
We were received by Allisson, who was very pleasant and helpful, in spite of us speaking different languages. Google Translate came to the rescue.
For those of limited mobility, be aware that the drive is steep, and there are 15 steps to the front door.

The property was well positioned for the many beaches in the area. It was well equipped with plenty of pans and crockery to cater for a large group. The covered pool was excellent given the poor temperatures and weather this summer. Only criticism was lack of hand towels and some poor quality bath towels.

The layout of the house was great. Pool was lovely. The views are stupendous and the location is perfect. The house suits a large group giving freedom to those wanting to walk to the town centre or beach to do so and others to stay and enjoy the pool of they prefer.

Studio off the pool. Glass sliding doors to pool were broken, hence there was no way to lock this part of the house. The valuables of the occupants had to be stored in the house leaving their other possessions vulnerable. Hence pool could not be secured from young children. We had a 2 year old infant, it was a constant worry that he could get into the room unsupervised. There was a very windy day which meant plant debris blew under the door into the pool making it unpleasantly dirty. This door should be fixed immediately.
Despite advising how many people would be staying, not enough linen and towels were provided. On complaining to the lady who showed us round, she returned and provided further in a timely fashion, There were not enough duvet covers, and some of the linens did not fit the beds. No cot linen was provided. The state of the linens and towels was deplorable. They were old, frayed, sheets had stain marks, the towels were rough. I would be ashamed to offer such linens and towels in my home.
The general cleanliness of the house was deplorable. The kitchen surfaces, all the floors, bathroom cupboards, windows, poolroom floor, inside of cupboards, fridge surrounds were all very dirty. This lack of hygiene and cleanliness made us wash every item we used. The house had clearly not had a thorough clean for a very long time.Although adequately equipped, it was extremely untidy.
On arrival one of the toilet seats was broken. It was fixed the next day on advising of this, but if it had been cleaned this should have been noticed?
The gas had run out on the cooker on arrival. Again changed when pointed out, this should be checked on every changeover?
The house 'manual' is poor, scrappy few pages and only in French. Should be in all different languages. On leaving, the lady was upset we had not stripped the beds. We have never had to do this on leaving any other rental (or make them on arrival as had to do here). If it had been in the instruction manual we would have done this. We did strip the beds prior to leaving.
We were overall extremely disappointed at the standard of this property for the price paid. Compared to other rentals we have stayed in at similar cost this property fell below par.
