About this cottage rental
LE CHINAILLON: charming 2-room apartment, 45m2, peaceful and nicely decorated in a fenced-in property between the Ventoux and the Lubéron mountains. It presents a bedroom for 2, a bathroom, separate toilets, 30m2 living room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining corner, sitting corner with sofa bed, TV with French numeric cable, DVD-player and wireless Internet access. This room opens onto a 25m2 terrace through sliding picture windows, giving access to the first outdoor lounge. When you leave this terrace, you will find a second outdoor lounge with a BBQ under a canopy of hundred-year-old oaks. In this flowery corner, you will find the ideal space to practice the typical lunchtime sport : "la pétanque" (French boules) Less than 1 km away, you will find many activities (hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, swimming in the river, horse-riding, tree climbing, flying trapeze...) as well as an 18-hole golf course (Provence Country club). Enough to spend excellent holidays!

Delightful hosts would made us most welcome. Although attached to owners house had complete privacy with excellent outdoors space as well as charming interior space.

We stayed in the beautiful gite for one week. We received a very warm welcome, many suggestions for trips into the environment, and a coffe for goodbuy.

Our hosts Gilberte and Francine were exceptional; a very warm welcome with apéro in the shade of the garden when we arrived, coffee to send us on our way to the next stage of our journey. People who are genuinely interested in their guests as people. The little cottage is very well designed and comfortable and very well equipped; the air conditioning was very welcome during the hot weather but the nights were cool and we slept very well on the comfortable bed with the windows wide open and the insect proofing keeping the mosquitoes out. The garden is spacious, peaceful, calm and has plenty of shady spots to rest, read or even sleep! L’Isle sur la Sorgue is not far away and had plenty of choice for shopping. We cannot recommend this place and its wonderful hosts highly enough. It is a brilliant place to spend time and there is plenty of walking and exploring in the area. A place for a great vacation.
