We arrived in La Turballe at about lunchtime which was several hours before the owners were ready for us to take charge of the villa, this was not a problem for them and allowed us to stay in the rear gardens while they completed the cleaning from the previous occupants, this gave us a chance to have a baguette and a glass of wine (the first of many) and wind down after the drive from Roscoff.
The house is very well appointed with more than enough space for 2 families (4 adults and 4 teenagers), the kitchen has sufficient utensils and a good sized cooker.
The bedrooms are all of a generous size with comfortable beds and we all slept very well as the area is peaceful at night with only the distant sound of the sea.
The property is situated only a 4 minute walk from the beach which was busy but not overcrowded, the beachfront also has a number of bars and restaurants (cannot vouch for these as we had our meals at the house) and a selection of shops.
There is a good sized supermarket only a 5 minute drive from the house (we would recommend visiting at lunchtime as its very busy either side of lunch 12 - 2pm).
We travelled from Plymouth to Roscoff on the overnight ferry and found the drive from Roscoff to La Turballe very pleasant through the countryside, the drive is about 3 and a half hours, there are no tolls in the area, recommend a full tank of fuel as fuel stations are a bit sparse.
All in all a very pleasant stay and a thank you to the owners.

Une villa parfaite pour un séjour en famille avec enfants, au calme et près de la plage Nous avons été impressionnés par le haut standing et l’attention donnée à tous les détails. La décoration est exceptionnelle, mais il faut aimer le bois. Le petit plus quand on revient de la plage, un jacuzzi bien chaud dans le jardin. Merveilleux. La région est superbe également. Nombreuses activités. Nous reviendrons...
