About this house rental
Quiet family house with large garden 300 m from the sea. It consists, on the ground floor of an equipped kitchen which opens onto a large double living room, a TV lounge, a laundry room, a WC and a bathroom with bathtub. Upstairs: 4 bedrooms (4 double beds and a single bed) which are not all on the same landing (1 staircase leads to 2 of them, another staircase leads to the other 2) and a bathroom with shower and WC. It can accommodate 9 people.
900m² garden: terrace, barbecue, garden furniture ...
The shops are very close.
Many possible activities: cycling and hiking, kite-surfing, horse riding, tennis, nautical activities…
Merville-Franceville offers a beautiful beach bordering a large protected natural area housing an ornithological site and is ideally located for excursions to Cabourg, Deauville or Caen and to the Landing beaches.

A very nice house/villa for a large family with an antique flair. We especially loved the old-looking furniture, the well equipped kitchen and the terrace. The way to the beach is very short - good for little kids.
The only problem was the communication at Check-in (via phone) and Check-out, because there was no English conversation possible (nethertheless the French Madame Marie was very polite and friendly).

A dated, quirky yet charming house. Comfortable furniture is required. Sleeps 9 but tight on seating for 9. Garden a boon in heatwave. Lovely peaceful neighbourhood but more than 300 meters to the see tho easily walking distance. Don’t know where the pic, apparently outside the gate was taken!

Maison très agréable à vivre aussi bien à l’intérieur que dans le jardin où sur la terrasse. La propriétaire a pris le soin de laisser tout l’équipement dont on peut avoir besoin en vacances.
La maison était dans un état de propreté irréprochable.
Elle est de plus très bien située : plages, commerces.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
