About this house rental
In a quiet green area near the port of Mazou in Porspoder (Country Iroise), this character cottage consists of a large living room with lounge, kitchen and separate (dishwasher, fridge-freezer , microwave oven ...) and a small reading room. Upstairs you can enjoy three rooms with sea view, one with a double bed and the other two each with two single beds. For your convenience we offer you a shower room with toilet upstairs and a bathroom on the ground floor with separate toilet.
This cottage is located 30 minutes from Brest, 30 minutes from Guipavas Airport.
For your stay, boredom will not be at the appointment. : You will find the GR 34, as well as numerous hiking and cycling trails from the lodging. You reach the beach easily on foot. And for water activities you can enjoy Penfoul waves for surfing, sailing school in Argenton or Portsall, admire the coast by kayak and the seabed during a walk snorkeling or Océanopolis Brest if time allows.
Finally, if a trip to the islands makes you feel like, Pier Lanildut for Ouessant and Mullein is 10 min (July and August).

Lovely house in a lovely area. Situated in a very rural area so it was quite a trek to village or restaurants. That wasn’t an issue as we enjoy walking but it may not suit everyone. Our main issue was that nowhere on the listing did it mention having to pay for towels and bedding. So please be aware it is 8 euros for each bed and each set of towels. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable time despite the weather not being particularly good.

Das Haus ist ein typisches bretonisches Landhaus von 1716, stilsicher restauriert und urgemütlich. Der Garten ist riesig und uneinsehbar. Zum Meer sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, die große Küche ist umfangreich ausgestattet, auch eine Crepe-Pfanne mit Teighölzchen und ein Austernmesser sind vorhanden. Wir wurden sehr liebevoll von den Besitzern Sebastien und Emilie empfangen. Beide sprechen gut englisch. Zur Begrüßung gabs selbstgebrautes Bier und selbstgemachte Marmelade. Der Ort Porspoder ist 20 Gehminuten entfernt. Dort gibt es Restaurants, einen tollen Bäcker, eine Apotheke und einen kleinen (leider sehr teuren) Supermarkt, der sogar sonntags bis 20.00 Uhr geöffnet hat. Eine wirkliche Ausnahme in der gesamten Region. Auch 2 Schnellladestationen für Elektroautos gibt es am Ort. Der nächste große und günstige Supermarkt mit wirklich allem, was man braucht, ist 20 Autominuten entfernt in Ploudalmezeau. Die Gegend ist traumhaft schön. Nach wenigen Metern erreicht man den 2000 km langen Küstenwanderweg GR34. Vorn dort sieht man den berühmten Leuchtturm Phare du Four und kann wunderbar spazierengehen. Auch für Hunde, die im Haus gern gesehen sind, ideal. Felsenbuchten wechseln sich mit schneeweißen und menschenleeren Traumstränden und kleinen Häfen ab. Im Umland gibt es sehr viel zu entdecken, verträumte Dörfer und Städte, typische Märkte, romantische Landschaften und überall Großsteinrelikte aus der Steinzeit, und alles liegt nicht weit von einander entfernt.
Wir haben einen Traumurlaub verbracht und sind nächstes Jahr wieder hier.
