Old barn completely renovated with garden, located in the Cotentin peninsula opposite the Channel Islands Jersey and Guernsey. Nestled in a small fishing hamlet to 1. 5km from the sea and 3km from the resort of Carteret.
The house has 4 separate bedrooms (1in ground floor, 2 upstairs, 1 in mezzanine), 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, 1 kitchen open to a large living room and an open living space on the garden. Ideal for 1 or 2 families.

We have really enjoyed our stay. The property is really lovely, cosy, spacious, fully equipped, well located, with calm surroundings, and has a nice garden. It is suitable for family with kids. Wonderful hosts and neighbours willing to share good advices for local activities and insider tips. Very good location to explore the region, close to the beach and the town for supplies and going out. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return there.

The house is really bigger than the fotos shows and it has a wonderful garden. There are 4 bedrooms and two baby-beds. Sheets and towels are included - that is a very big plus point if you don't have enough space in your car.
In the kitchen you find everything you need, also pasta and coffee for the first day. It is a little bit tricky to get the oven running because of the child safety lock ;-)
The location is really quiet, only some horses and tractors are crossing the house - but thats the best for little children ("tractooooor!!!!"). There are a lot of toys in the house, that made our little boy really happy.
The owners are very, very friendly and there was no problem that couldn't be solved.
The position of the house is very fine: a lot of small villages are nearly around with big local markets, Restaurants, supermarcches, the port to visit Jersey etc. - and of course: the best beach is only 1,5 km away - you can go there or take a bike or the car.
We hope to could come back in some years!
