About this farm stay rental
St Étienne du Grès is at the foot of the Alpilles, close to St Rémy de Provence, to Arles, Nîmes or Avignon.
This calm village of Provençal aromas.
I chose to renovate this mas w/ natural materials which favour calm & well-being.
It‘s ideal for persons suffering from respiratory problems, stress or fatigue of for young children. Geothermal underground heating & air conditioning.
In this mas great volumes were favoured & the authenticity of the site is married w/ ultra modern comfort.
on the ground floor: living room w/ chimney, living area, 1 bedroom w/ bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 wc.
upstairs: 2 bedrooms for adults, 1 for children, 1 bathroom, 1 shower, 1 wc.
A pool of 9 x 4m will bring you well-being & relaxation.
Possibility of renting the services of a cook to discover the art of Provençal culinary tradition.
Take note: Holidays: Arles(April), Nimes (Pentecost), pilgrimage of the gypsies Saintes Marie de la Mer (May), Avignon festival.
The Mas de Muscadelles is more than 150 years old; I have tried to conserve the authenticity of the place whilst bringing it maximum comfort.
Light shines in everywhere there isn't a shutter but there are large secured bay windows.
On the ground floor you'll have a large 72 sq.m living area w/ ceilings 6m high w/ a large library which has books for children, adults, historical, novels, DVDs CDs. There is a large chimney in the middle of the room.
A living room w/ sofa for 4 persons & a 'Love Seat', fine wood table.
A small Peruvian living area w/ 2 armchairs & a table.
The dining room is equipped w/ a large octagonal table,
a bedroom in chocolate & cream tones w/ walk-in shower looking outwards, this bedroom is calm & relaxing (140 bed).
The kitchen is modern in red & grey, you can have a snack, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, oven, microwave are there to make your holidays easier.
Upstairs: 1 bedroom of 25 sq.m awaits you w/ a four poster mahogany bed white canopy (bed of 180). 1 Adjoined bathroom w/ 2 bowl sinks, 1 Walk-in shower & 1 bathtub.
1 mauve & burgundy bedroom of 17sq.m w/ desk & young & modern side (bed of 160).
1 children's bedroom w/ a boat bed, 1 library, 1 desk & games for boys & girls are there for the children's pleasure.
Outside there is a pool of 9m/4m which will relax you.

L’accueil chaleureux d’Alex a été gâché par une chaleur humide intense dans la maison. La climatisation ne marchait pas et n’a pas marché durant tout notre séjour (3 semaines) malgré les visites répétées du réparateur totalement inefficace ! Si j’ai loué cette maison c’est parce qu’elle avait une piscine chauffée et la climatisation. Nous avions avec nous deux personnes âgées (80 et 88 ans) et un bébé de 2 ans. Nous avons eu des températures externes de plus de 35°. A l’intérieur cela ne descendait pas en dessous de 26°-27°. Et comme c’était une chaleur humide la plus part du temps… Le réparateur a finalement agit et le résultat a été que si nous laissions la clim plus d’1h30 on avait une inondation sur le carrelage en particulier dans la SDB et le cabinet de toilette de l’étage. Un peu dans les chambres aussi et la cuisine. Le carrelage se transformait en patinoire !! Notre bébé de 2 ans en a fait la rude expérience avec une belle chute dans la SDB et s’est violemment heurté la tête. Donc surveillance continue et obligés d’arrêter la clim sans arrêt. Tout cela pour obtenir une température de 25°-26° au mieux. Le seul moment ou la température était supportable c’était le matin à 6h quand nous ouvrions les fenêtres du rez-de-chaussée.
La maison a beaucoup de charme, le jardin est superbe, et la piscine est très agréable. Attention tout de même à ne pas oublier de mettre des chaussures lorsque vous marchez sur la plage en carrelage de la piscine. Si elle est mouillée c’est une vraie patinoire. Les propriétaires sont charmants et adorables et prêts à vous rendre service si vous en avez besoin.
