About this farm stay rental
Family farmhouse for several generations, this charming stone farmhouse is located in a pretty and peaceful Gard village in the center of many Provencal tourist sites (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence and Les Carrières de Lumières - Avignon and the Palais des Papes - The Pont du Gard and Uzès - Orange - Arles and the Camargue - Nîmes).
Le Mas de l'ilon is made up of 9 independent bedrooms with 9 private bathrooms (some with shower and bath) and 9 separate toilets. The 9 rooms are all air conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen TV. A 10th bedroom on the mezzanine with a double bed is possible. You will discover a decoration specific to each room on the theme of charm. Beds will be made upon arrival and towels and bath mats will be provided.
The domain, equipped with WIFI, includes 2 fully equipped open kitchens with dishwashers, refrigerators / freezers, oven and hobs (Lacanche piano), coffee makers ... etc. We provide you with assorted and refined tableware (stemware, plates ...) and many equipment.
You also have 2 large living rooms with fireplaces equipped with large tables and chairs where you can take your meals together. A lounge with a bar counter will allow you to have a drink or relax. At your request, we can arrange a large room in the workplace (seminar), place for children's games to use at the hottest hours ...
During your stay, you will also enjoy a shaded outdoor dining area with a large table and chairs for 29 people. For your grilling, you have a barbecue and a large plancha as well as a pizza oven.
For your fully privatized relaxation area, you have a large secure swimming pool (6x12 meters), part of which is a beach (6x2.5 meters: ideal for young children or to bathe a baby safely) and a 5-seat jacuzzi under a wrought iron arbor. Many sun loungers and beds are available with an outdoor shower and toilet.
A large shaded area by the pool awaits you for reading or relaxing on couches. You can find yourself there to play with your youngest children ... You can take your aperitif with friends by the pool, feet in the water, enjoying the bar area (bar counter, fridge, sink ...) and the beach (6x2.5 meters).
You can play pétanque in the alley of our olive trees while cooking your pizzas and meats over a wood fire in our wood oven ...
Secure parking with an electric gate is available with a carport.
Respect for places (interior and exterior) is essential as well as respect for the neighborhood. Animals are not accepted.
Preference for family events. Any festive event (birthdays or others) must be announced in advance (respect for the neighborhood in accordance with French law)
A deposit of 1,500 € will be requested 1 month before and returned after a contradictory inventory (after cleaning, a transfer will be made to your account).
The price on Abritel varies depending on the season. The price is increased by 20 € per person per stay beyond 22 people. In high season (July-August and weekend bridge and public holidays), we rent the entire area. Outside, we can rent according to the number that part of the area (we will give you a tailor-made quote - send the most detailed email possible on the number of couples, children ...)
Le Mas de l'Ilon is located in Vallabrègues, a peaceful village of basketry and Provencal chairs, in a tourist triangle near Avignon (21km), Arles (25 km), St Rémy-de-Provence / Les Baux de Provence (22 km), Nîmes (31 km), Uzès and the Pont du Gard (21km), Les Saintes Marie de La Mer / the Camargue (54km).

Our entire family loved being at Mas de L'ilion. It exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were a delightful couple -- welcoming us and making us feel at home. When we first arrived, they provided us with cold fruit drinks and a welcome basket of fruit. We were easily able to get fresh pastries and fruit delivered to us each day. Our accommodations were beautiful and we loved the general plan of the Mas with ensuite bathrooms which was all beautifully decorated. The exterior was inviting with the plants and outdoor seating, and of course the pool was wonderful. It is situated in a lovely village with a good restaurant/brassiere around the corner. We were able to visit many places in the surrounding area like Avignon, St Remy, Gordes, I'ile sur la Sorgue, Les Baux and even took a day trip to Marseille and Cassis. I looked for a long time to find this place and it was perfect. We hated to leave. If you have a large family or a group of friends who want to visit Provence, this home will not disappoint you. I already know my friends in the USA will be asking me to help them plan a trip here for their next visit to France. It is definitely a place we will want to return.

Mas de l'llon is an extraordinary and lovingly restored farmhouse on the immediate edge of the charming village of Villabrueges. Claudie and her husband have decorated with a remarkable blend of old and new, with an Architectural Digest-level sense of style and eye for detail. The compound is divided into sections for smaller groups, yet it was amazing for our group of 20 adults and teens. The kitchen, dining area, and tables outside of it became the focal point for us. The living room became our gathering spot for presentations, while the pool was the site of much revelry for all ages until the wee hours. Then, when you needed space, you could retreat to your beautifully appointed private room with your own bathroom and amazing AC. The variety of room configurations met the needs of our eclectic group. Claudie and her husband were attentive to our needs and also appropriate and fair with us when we decided we knew how to fix the faltering but elaborate coffee maker and broke it instead. I cannot recommend this beautiful lodging more.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming property, and it exceeded our expectations. The ambiance of the place is incredibly cozy. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated stay.

We had a great stay!
A few areas were not child friendly such as the stone steps. The steps into the pool were very slippery. Apart from that, we had a really lovely time. The location is beautiful and all the rooms are beautifully presented.
